How to choose the most profitable product?
Many players ask what is the best product to invest their companies in, and this question has a clear answer that will be explained in detail.

We will use two websites in this article:

We have Cooked Fish, its selling price is: 7.385 gold in the market currently on 11/4 at 7:26 PM.

At first glance, you may think trading this product is very profitable, but let me teach you something that helps you distinguish between a profitable product and a bad one.

We will go to the first link and choose economy, then scroll down to see G/PP for each item and try to find the highest G/PP. We will notice that Bread has the highest G/PP.

The formula we will use to check if Bread is actually profitable for us is:

• Highest G/PP in the market for a product × bonus percentage of that product

• The result + highest G/PP in the market for the product

• The final result × your company’s production points per day

Practical example: I have an AE company at level 4 producing 96 PP

You get the bonus from the second website by selecting Wage Compendium

The calculation:
0.105 (G/PP) × 15% (bonus) = 0.01575

The result (0.01575) + highest G/PP (0.105) = 0.12075

Final result (0.12075) × 96 (PP/D) = 11.592 gold

Now let’s calculate Cooked Fish to see how much gold it generates daily.

Formula:

• 0.104 × 15.5% = 0.01612

• 0.104 + 0.01612 = 0.12012

• 0.12012 × 96 = 11.53152 Gold
  

  

Now let’s check Steel:

Formula:

• 0.081 × 63.25% = 0.0512325

• 0.081 + 0.0512325 = 0.1322325

• 0.1322325 × 96 = 12.69432 Gold
  

  

Conclusion:

• Steel generates about 12.69 gold (G/PP 0.081) daily

• Bread generates about 11.592 gold (G/PP 0.105) daily

• Cooked Fish generates about 11.53152 gold (G/PP 0.104) daily

Question: you might ask, shouldn’t the product with higher G/PP be more profitable? How is steel more profitable while bread and cooked fish are not?

• The answer is in the bonus, my friend.

• If we calculate without bonus, what happens?

• Bread:

• 0.105 × 96 = 10.08 Gold
