Joint Statement from the Egyptian High Command and the Government of Egypt

Addressed to the Government of Sudan

To the Government and People of Sudan,

The ongoing military operation launched by the regional coalition is not a war of conquest, nor is it an attempt to erase Sudanese sovereignty. Egypt has entered this conflict with one objective: to restore long-term stability and security to our shared region.

Egypt has no intention of permanently occupying or annexing Sudanese territory. Our vision is clear: a stable, sovereign Sudan that governs itself free from the instability and external influences that have brought conflict to our borders.

To bring this conflict to a swift and honourable conclusion, Egypt is prepared to support the full restoration of Sudan’s territorial sovereignty once lasting regional security is secured. We believe this can be achieved through a strategic realignment that serves the interests of the Arab world and regional peace.

Accordingly, we call upon the Government of Sudan to withdraw from the BEER alliance and instead join the broader community of Arab nations working together to ensure mutual security, prosperity, and stability across the region.

Our nations share deep historical, cultural, and geographic ties that extend far beyond the present conflict. Egypt seeks not an enemy to defeat, but a neighbour to stand beside once peace has been restored.

The door to dialogue remains open. The sooner an agreement is reached, the sooner the guns may fall silent and Sudan can move forward with its sovereignty fully respected.

بيان مشترك صادر عن القيادة العامة للقوات المسلحة المصرية وحكومة جمهورية مصر

موجّه إلى حكومة جمهورية السودان

إلى حكومة وشعب السودان،

إن العملية العسكرية الجارية التي أطلقتها قوات التحالف الإقليمي ليست حربًا من أجل الاحتلال أو الاستيلاء على الأراضي السودانية، وليست محاولة للمساس بسيادة السودان. لقد دخلت مصر هذا النزاع بهدف واحد: إعادة الاستقرار والأمن الدائم إلى منطقتنا المشتركة.

لا تنوي مصر احتلال أي جزء من الأراضي السودانية بشكل دائم أو ضمّه إلى أراضيها. فرؤيتنا واضحة؛ وهي قيام سودان مستقر وذو سيادة كاملة، قادر على إدارة شؤونه بحرية، بعيدًا عن حالة عدم الاستقرار والتأثيرات الخارجية التي أدت إلى تصاعد الصراع في منطقتنا.

ومن أجل إنهاء هذا النزاع بسرعة وبصورة تحفظ كرامة جميع الأطراف، فإن مصر على استعداد لدعم الاستعادة الكاملة لسيادة السودان على أراضيه، بمجرد تحقيق ضمانات حقيقية للأمن والاستقرار الإقليمي. ونؤمن بأن ذلك يمكن تحقيقه من خلال إعادة تموضع استراتيجي يخدم مصالح العالم العربي ويعزز السلام في المنطقة.

وانطلاقًا من ذلك، تدعو جمهورية مصر حكومة السودان إلى الانسحاب من تحالف BEER والانضمام إلى صف الدول العربية الشقيقة، والعمل جنبًا إلى جنب مع القوى العربية في المنطقة من أجل تحقيق الأمن المشترك، والازدهار، والاستقرار الدائم.

إن ما يجمع مصر والسودان من روابط تاريخية وثقافية وجغرافية يفوق بكثير ما يفرقهما اليوم. فمصر لا تسعى إلى هزيمة جارٍ شقيق، بل إلى بناء شراكة معه بعد أن يعود السلام والاستقرار إلى ربوع المنطقة.

ولا يزال باب الحوار مفتوحًا. وكلما تم التوصل إلى اتفاق في وقت أقرب، كان بإمكان الطرفين إنهاء القتال، واستعادة السودان لسيادته كاملة، وفتح صفحة جديدة من التعاون والمستقبل المشترك.

من أجل الاستقرار. من أجل السيادة. من أجل مستقبل منطقتنا.
