The Irish World Tournament Run

After walking through all three other rounds, no other team wanting to take on the Irish, Ireland stood in the Finals alongside Iran and Senegal mostly with the title in an arms reach.

We wanted that victory, with no major war for Ireland to fight at the time, we went all in on the tournament, a time to show the Irish pride and strength to the world, was making it to the finals doing that already... yes, did we want to push it further and win the whole thing? absolutely.

The tournament brings nations together in ways you would not expect, some don't care, others care about it way too much, I find the Netherlands and the UK being teamed together being insanely funny given their history, but alas they put up a good fight.

Round after round of the tournament, Irish players continued to contribute and push us further ahead, while other nations played a part, Ireland became the driving force up until the finals behind our campaigns.

Nearing the end of the tournament, one thing was clear among all else, Ireland was carrying the team.

Numbers don't lie, Ireland had a 80% contribution rate before the final, with Iran and Senegal pushing us down to a 50% contribution at the finals trying to gain them last ticks.

The pressure grew stronger as the final's went on, knowing full well the Dutch would try to hammer us out of the start, massing over 200m damage dealt on both sides from round 1 resulting in our victory, we thought we had it won for good.

Round 2 was devastating for all involved, huge congratulations to the Dutch for winning but it was rough, losing by a matter of 14 minutes and 300k damage at the time stung, I am still impressed with every soldier who fought on our side of the battle.

Conclusion of the tournament: Despite Irish loss in the tournament, I believe this shows a huge amount of power within the forces, being paired against one of the strongest nations in the game is not an easy feat, almost beating them by a manner of probably 1-2m damage is extremely impressive all things considered.
