Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) did not come to invent a new religion. Rather, he came to restore the original, uncorrupted message of pure monotheism originally preached by Abraham, Moses, and Jesus.
Imagine an ancient, magnificent painting that accumulated layers of additions and alterations over centuries; Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) came to gently wipe away those added layers, revealing the original masterpiece exactly as the Creator intended: "God is One, without partners, equals, or associates."
His Character: He lived as a truthful and trustworthy man among his people long before his prophethood. Even his opponents acknowledged his impeccable integrity.
His Message: He liberated humanity from worshipping created beings, idols, and images to worshipping the Creator of all beings. He established the ultimate declaration of human equality: "An Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab, nor does a white person over a black person, except by righteousness."
3️⃣ Why Islam Appeals to Reason Before Emotion
Faith in Islam is clear, direct, and intellectually coherent:
God is neither a father nor a son: "Fatherhood" and "sonship" are human, biological concepts constrained by time and matter. God Almighty is far above human attributes or physical representations:
“He neither begets nor is born, nor is there to Him any equivalent.” (Quran 112:3-4)
Direct Access to God: Islam features no clergy class claiming to hold keys to forgiveness or salvation. Your prayer on the bare ground, in any corner of the world, is a direct, unfiltered connection to the Supreme Being.
🌟 A Word to the Seeking Heart and Mind
Islam does not ask you to abandon your love for Jesus or your reverence for the prophets. On the contrary, it invites you to restore Jesus to his true, exalted status as a noble Prophet and Messenger of God, rather than attributing to him divine qualities he never claimed for himself.
The Quran extends a gentle invitation to open minds and seeking hearts:
"Say, 'O People of the Scripture, come to a word that is equitable between us and you—that we will not worship except God and not associate anything with Him and not take one another as lords instead of God.'" (Quran 3:64)
Truth is always simple, clear, and direct—just like light.
