A Fictional Chronicle of (maybe) why vatou has beef with a 'random' flag

Disclaimer : nobody was harmed except imaginary feelings.

Before WarEra ,i played a game known as Conflict of Nations(CoN), essentially a map game but single player ,P2W ,multi issues and worse moderation if players weren't snowflakes.

An international battle royale, with war and economy on the same pedestal, with the objective of owning at least 80% of the world,or a large empire by yourself if you dare.

I was in a game playing as Mozambique, created an alliance with DR Congo and Angola them unfortunately not being good players at all, this particular game mode made insurgents dangerous, effectively weakening them over.

Fortunately,Zambia and South Africa weren't easily dealt with ,but while doing so,i didn't heed the warnings of a militarised Ethiopia

Reference image(not actual thing) :

The advance began with Ethiopian troops seizing Pemba almost immediately with my forces withdrawn to defend Beira

Beira was fortified with bunkers guarded by an attache of national guards excellent at defense.

With by withdrawn infantry staged a resistance that destroyed 10 enemy units of his.

Then he deployed strikers which were destroyed by my superiority fighters securing the airspace.

Then Ethiopia sent only fighters but used them to attack the deployed troops in Beira, which resulted in his air superiority fighters being wasted.

Ethiopia escalated things further by deploying his bombers escorted by fighters to directly target my high production areas , especially of components and supplies however he made the mistake of assuming I had no fighters, whilst also attack the capitals of all my coalition members, feeling his coalition would back him up.

As a result, 5 air units and a failed offensive to take Beira would finally allow me to slowly return my lands back.

Ethiopia then deployed his strongest airforce having 2 fighters ,2 strikers and an air ace.

However,i already by them had 10 units of fighters and only the air ace could escape due to his speed.

The Kd ratio was 2 : 1,he lost double of my casualties.

This defense had caused a crashout by the Ethiopian player, showing visceral anger with his words.

However he still had strikers ,any attempts by me and my teammates of advancing would prove futile.

In the end,the loss was so obvious that Saudi Arabia would wipe the weakened Ethiopia very quickly and catch my army in a bad position after taking most of Ethiopia and Kenya.

In the end ,i couldn't be prepared to defeat the player and my incompetent alliance would be wiped too.

It would take a bigger battle for me to learn that competent players would be necessary to win in this international battle royale to know.

What does have to do with the flag? :

Im not saying that vatou could possibly be that player, which would've justified the flipped flag like it was going to trigger that terrible memory if not done

Or is from an alternate universe where the flipped flag is normal where he came from.

However, unless he elaborates the flag's enmity besides being funny.

It remains a possibility.
