A Formal Address to the Nations of the World

Distinguished leaders, honored representatives, and esteemed nations of the international community,

I address you with the utmost respect and a sincere spirit of cooperation. My name is Porfirio Díaz, and I currently serve as Minister of Foreign Affairs of México. It is both my duty and my conviction to foster meaningful and enduring relationships among nations, grounded in mutual respect, sovereignty, and shared progress.

In an increasingly interconnected world, diplomacy stands as the foundation upon which peace, stability, and prosperity are built. It is in this spirit that I formally express my government’s willingness and readiness to establish embassies and diplomatic missions with all nations that seek constructive engagement.

We extend our hand in friendship and collaboration, inviting open dialogue, cultural exchange, and strategic partnerships across economic, scientific, and political spheres. Our objective is clear: to strengthen international ties that benefit not only our respective countries, but the global community as a whole.

We recognize the diversity of systems, traditions, and perspectives that define each nation. Yet, it is precisely this diversity that enriches diplomacy and allows us to learn from one another. Through the establishment of embassies, we create permanent channels of communication—bridges that endure beyond temporary interests and foster long-term understanding.

To all nations willing to engage in good faith, I reaffirm our openness to initiate formal diplomatic relations and to work diligently toward shared goals. Let us move forward together with prudence, dignity, and a common vision for a more cooperative world.

With highest consideration and respect,

Porfirio Díaz
Minister of Foreign Affairs of México
