Brothers and sisters, citizens of the new free Germany, we have done it, not alone but with our friends in hand in hand. We have begun to be free once more. From this day on it will be shouted once more: "Schön hier, aber waren Sie schon einmal im Baden-Württemberg?" The Italians should know how it was, a great uprising.
