Earlier this week, I said I was going to write an article on Friday, and while it is currently Saturday for people in the Central European Time Zone because it is past midnight, that is beside the point.
But earlier this week Feta told me that he was sadly going to leave the game, which I personally think is a loss for the community because I know he used to make some comics about some conflicts that were happening (and some good ones, if you ask me).
And I would say it was always in a bit of a funny way to help keep the positive mood going, although I can't say for certain that was his intention, but I'd like to believe it was; he also was and still is a good guy, and on the Danish Discord I, at some point while I was still admin, gave him the nickname "The Dutch Cartoon Master," which I think he may have found funny but also liked and maybe even appreciated a bit.
Personally, I would like everyone, regardless of nationality, beliefs, or past conflicts and alliances, to give him a worthy and honorable salute to send him off in a good way.
Hopefully, we can all come together, regardless of who we are fighting with or against, to send this person off with kindness and respect for everything he has done and contributed.
I have also noticed that other experienced players have left the game, both those who have more experience than me and those with less, which is a bit unfortunate.
But I don't blame them or hold anything against them, and if I have to be honest, I have also thought about leaving the game myself, and I am thinking it is something that I will do once I have been here for one whole year.
Some people probably know me and some probably don't, and to those who may not know me, I was one of the first Danes to join, if not the first; I was also the first Dane to become president of Denmark, regardless of whether people think it counts or not.
But let's get back to the topic, which is Feta; when he told me he was taking his departure from the game, he mentioned that he had ended up finding the game boring, and honestly, I can see why.
I still hope that people will salute him, give him the respect he deserves, and wish him well, because I certainly will; I hope that wherever he may be, he is doing well, and I hope to at least hear from him every now and then because I would definitely consider him a friend, and I do not care if others do not.
So, please, everyone, give this man a final salute and wish him well on his journey forward into the future.
Feta, wherever you are right now, I hope you are having a good day and will continue to stay positive wherever you may go, and I certainly hope that you will at least occasionally check in.
I also hope to be able to chat with you sometimes and, who knows, maybe meet for a beer or some other alcoholic drink, since you could argue that we are nearly neighbors.
Feta, I salute you and wish you all well in the future.
Best regards, Patrick.
