To my friends; the current citizens of Luxembourg.
The past month has been eventful to say the least. For the first time ever, I have had a Presidential term. I have had a lot to learn these last few weeks and we have clearly not sat on our hands. Let's look back at some fun things we've done in the last month, shall we?
On the days between 20th and the 22nd of Augustus we helped our neighbors, the Belgians, liberate the Wallonia region. This meant our amount of regions exploded with a staggering 100% extra.

After liberating Wallonia, we decided to have a little swing at our gargantuan other neighbor: Germany. Their Rhine region was a great place to attack at the time, it would directly cut off their chances to take Wallonia. After a day of fierce battling the following scenario unfolded.

A staggering 200% increase in regions and a dream come true: Greater Luxembourg. This was all thanks to your help. As president of Luxembourg I thank you, both citizens and allies alike for this great sight!
Not everything can go as we planned. Due to an unfortunate scenario, our bunker had been cycled and Germany saw their change. They wanted a piece of our Luxembourgian pie. Last Tuesday our allies and I fought hard to keep our core region. Due to some great planning from our side and even greater help from those close to us, we've managed to win this battle. I can say with confidence, we will not have this happen again due to the same circumstances.
This battle was not all bad though. We've shown everyone what we're capable of. This has resulted in Luxembourg hitting a staggering 4th place in the Weekly damages / citizen with a banger 5.4 million damage.

This is something to be proud of. We're this high in the list with some real big, long standing names.
To address the elephant in the room, I will be running for a second Presidential term. One hopefully filled with more epic battles, big damage and most of all: more fun. Even though the last election was one-sided, I hope to see someone else run for President as well!
One needs competition to stay sharp and focused.
I thank all of you for reading and I hope to have the honors of leading you again next month.
For a greater Luxembourg and a brighter future.
Signed:
Ghoulli.
