Hello everyone!

Today I bring the start of my journalism adventure with an intriguing interview to The Philippines President @698bc8f6305278d08566c68f , this interview delves into the inner workings of the nation with a look into what is to come in the future.

I would like to also mention how kind and respectful the people of the Philippines were during this interview, something that can sometimes be difficult to find in this game. ❤️

The start of this interview went by me asking Darcious to introduce themselves to the paper:

I'm @698bc8f6305278d08566c68f , the new president of the Philippines. I'm part of the baby boom generation of our country where WarEra Philippines shifted from being a foreign-held government to locally-held. I've been through different government roles over the past terms so I got to meet a lot of people around. With regard to my goal for the country, I envision Philippines to become a significant name in WarEra soon.

This was a promising beginning to the interview, displaying Darcious' experience in government and their optimism for a future.

When asked about the structure of the Philippine government, Darcious described that the government was a mix of veterans and new members to the community, that they have been attempting to push government jobs to people so that they can experience a new side of WarEra, outlining how everyone has their own side projects within the nation they work on which is a sign to show the nation is always pushing to do newer things and not sit in the past.

Enquiring as to how the nation keeps many of their higher level players engaged for such a long time, after some confusion as to what a "higher" level was, they answered that there is actually a huge struggle to keep Filipino's in the game with huge waves of bans and not many of the older members wish to create a discord account to appeal these bans. More on this later.

The Foreign Affairs Minister @698ebb6e4682092bfb4ad4ba made an appearance here as well outlining again that many of their people get banned / mass reported and lose morale due to it, they also say they are proud of all the Filipino's who stay and fight for their cause still.

After this, I did a bit of research into the nation to discover many of their past Presidents left the nation to pursue others, this was questioned as it is a unique approach to presidency.

The response to this was that this allowed newer presidents to have a more open approach to directing the country and that previous presidents enjoy to rest after a stressful term. Their highest level player @68d310cd471352ce358a0f78 has been in eco for months since their presidency, while other past presidents such as @69895869ad2758110fe4ef11 and @69921ae0ddcfd375a202b7bd have gone to Tanzania to adventure into the mercenary life where there is less politics. @6813b754efecdf9bab194ca4 left to give the locals in Philippines more control of the nation and to pursue other projects, this ended with Darcious outlining they are open to them coming back to the nation and discord.

Darcious was asked where they wished to travel once their term ended to where they declined to speculate on their future plans as they are too focused on goals for the nation to consider it.

More about the politics in the nation was asked and how it was handled, Darcious said there was not much serious internal politics but that they are very transparent with the plans to all of the citizens to try get their opinions prior to making a decision, they also mention how other government members have been externally making positive connections in embassies.

Onto some more deeper questions, opinions on the crash of The Federation and if there was plans for other alliances at the time was asked, this is what Darcious had to say:

The crash of the Federation was really sad and everyone felt that. It wasn't a quick decision to do and we honestly did our best to keep it intact even through internal arguments and external challenges. That being said, an in-game disbandment doesn't mean we're cutting ties with our foreign friends. The Philippines continues hold good relations with every one of them. We would fight for them when we can. My presidential term's diplomatic vision is: "a loyal ally, and a friendly adversary".
Regarding the future alliance plans for Philippines, we have considered several options and we'll be announcing soon our development.

To end out the interview, I had a question from a member of my political party PfP, @69ac9a1ee999177790a2594d had asked who the Philippines favourite "enemy" country was.

Darcious gave a very interesting answer to that https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac829 and their proxies was his favourite, they have improved relations and love bantering with eachother, for the best vibes of a nation, they outlined that https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac83c and https://app.warera.io/region/6873d11594e6b3b7989a4c5cwere the best, they're not exactly enemies but had had battles and they all have fun joking around when crazy things are happening in the Pacific.

Closing statement from Darcious:

The reason why we play this game is to have fun. So I would ask everyone to go back to that. If it becomes otherwise, then there's no reason to stay. As what Coriando said, we have a hard time getting new players to commit to playing the game especially when they get a fast ban even before they understand the rules. Lots of people in our country share WiFi and even addresses because of our telecom companies. They haven't stay long enough to care making a ticket/setting a discord to plead their case. We respectfully wish moderation improves. We need to make it fun for new players and not just the veterans. Help us make the game's reach grow.

This was a very interesting interview, between the insights on the Philippines, their view on moderation and all the cool quirks they possess as a nation made for a very fun interview, thank you all for reading my first take on journalism, I hope you all enjoyed o7

I'm also down to my last 52.991 coins so any tips are appreciated :)
