A Message to the Rest of Europe from a Brit

As a new player representing the UK, I felt it was only right to introduce myself and explain a few important things to the rest of Europe. First and foremost, if you're wondering what motivates the British on the battlefield, it's simple: protect the fish and chips at all costs. I may be new, but I will happily throw myself into battle if our national dish is under threat. Secondly, many of you will eventually hear someone mention Spotted Dick. Despite sounding like a disease you'd catch after spending time in shady places, it's actually a traditional British pudding. No, we didn't make the name up, and yes, we still laugh every time someone says it.

Lastly, I'd appreciate a little sympathy. Britain is currently experiencing what we call "Hell on earth", meaning temperatures have soared high enough for the entire country to turn bright red like freshly boiled lobsters. While the rest of Europe carries on as normal, we're melting into our chairs, surviving on tea, ice creams and complaints about the weather. So if you happen to see a slightly sunburnt, confused new British player wandering around the server, don't worry, i'm just doing my duty for King, country, and the continued protection of fish and chips.
