A small appreciation note for the customer support experience

Just wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank the support team for the… unique experience my wife and I recently had.

It’s not every day you get to see how efficiently assumptions can replace communication, or how quickly a perfectly normal household setup can be transformed into something suspicious without the need for any actual clarification.

We are husband and wife, sharing a home, which apparently in 2026 is still a rather exotic concept. Naturally, this means we share an IP and occasionally a computer. A truly shocking revelation, I know.

Instead of something as old-fashioned as asking a question, we were fortunate enough to experience the modern approach: silent classification, automatic grouping, and even a surprise entry into a “family group” we were never told existed. It felt a bit like being enrolled in a club you didn’t know you applied for, but without the welcome email.

My personal favourite detail, however, was discovering that my wife was occasionally addressed using my in-game username. A fascinating glimpse into how identity works in advanced support systems: if two people live together, they must also be the same person. Truly efficient thinking.

Of course, I take full responsibility for not memorising every line of the relevant documentation in advance. That is entirely on me. I just assumed that a quick clarification might come before conclusions were drawn, which now feels like an almost old-fashioned expectation.

In any case, I would like to sincerely thank the team for reminding us that communication is optional, assumptions are powerful, and clarity is clearly overrated.

We will be taking this experience into account going forward, especially when deciding whether to continue supporting the project financially.

Wishing the team continued success in the noble art of solving mysteries without asking questions.
