In Islam, Tawhid is the foundation of faith and the greatest message brought by all prophets. It means believing that Allah is One, without partner, equal, or rival; that He alone is the Creator, the Sustainer, the Owner of all affairs, and the only One worthy of worship.
The meaning of La ilaha illa Allah (There is none worthy of worship but Allah) is not just a phrase spoken by the tongue. It is a belief, a commitment, and a way of life. It means that worship, prayer, reliance, fear, hope, and devotion belong to God alone.
Tawhid frees the heart from dependence on creation and connects it directly to the Creator. It teaches the Muslim strength, sincerity, humility, and certainty that all power and command belong to God alone.
But Islam also calls Muslims to another great duty: unity among themselves. Just as Muslims worship one Lord, follow one Prophet, face one Qiblah, and believe in one Book, they must not allow division, hatred, or conflict to weaken their ranks.
Allah says:
“And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided.”
The strength of the Muslim Ummah is not only in numbers, but in unity, discipline, brotherhood, and loyalty to truth. When Muslims are divided, their enemies become stronger. But when they stand together, they become like one body and one solid structure.
Therefore, Tawhid must live not only in our words, but also in our hearts, our actions, and our unity. A nation that believes in One God should not remain scattered under division and weakness.
One Lord, one faith, one Ummah.

إن التوحيد في الإسلام هو أصل الدين وأساس الإيمان، وهو أعظم رسالة جاء بها الأنبياء والرسل. ومعناه أن يؤمن المسلم بأن الله واحد لا شريك له، لا ند له ولا مثيل، وأنه وحده الخالق الرازق المدبر، والمالك لكل شيء، والمستحق للعبادة دون سواه
ومعنى لا إله إلا الله ليس مجرد كلمة تُقال باللسان، بل عقيدة وعهد ومنهج حياة. معناها أن العبادة، والدعاء، والتوكل، والخوف، والرجاء، والمحبة، والطاعة المطلقة، كلها لله وحده لا شريك له
والتوحيد يحرر القلب من التعلق بالمخلوق، ويربطه بالخالق سبحانه وتعالى. فمن عرف أن الأمر كله بيد الله، قوي إيمانه، وصدق توكله، وثبت قلبه، ولم يذل إلا لله
ولكن الإسلام لا يدعو فقط إلى توحيد العقيدة، بل يدعو كذلك إلى توحيد صفوف المسلمين. فكما أن المسلمين يعبدون ربا واحدا، ويتبعون نبيا واحدا، ويتوجهون إلى قبلة واحدة، ويؤمنون بكتاب واحد، فلا يليق بهم أن تمزقهم الفرقة، أو تضعفهم النزاعات، أو تفرقهم العصبيات
قال الله تعالى:
واعتصموا بحبل الله جميعا ولا تفرقوا
إن قوة الأمة ليست في كثرة عددها فقط، بل في وحدتها، وانضباطها، وأخوتها، واجتماع كلمتها على الحق. فإذا تفرق المسلمون طمع فيهم عدوهم، وإذا توحدوا صاروا كالجسد الواحد والبنيان المرصوص
لذلك يجب أن يكون التوحيد حيا في القلوب والأعمال والصفوف. فأمة تؤمن بإله واحد لا ينبغي أن تبقى ممزقة متفرقة ضعيفة
