Day 16
🇦🇺Australia🇦🇺
Australia is unique for constructing an extremely long wooden boundary line known as the Dingo Fence or Dog Fence, which is the longest continuous structure in the entire world, surpassing the Great Wall of China. Built in the late 19th century to protect pastures and livestock in the southeast from attacks by predatory dingoes, this massive fence stretches for over 5,000 kilometers across arid deserts and barren lands. Regular patrols continuously maintain it to prevent animals from infiltrating and destroying farms, making it one of the largest human endeavors to isolate nature and control wildlife across an entire continent
