THE GOVERNMENT OF THE IRISH REPUBLIC TO THE PEOPLE OF IRELAND
IRISHMAN AND IRISHWOMEN:
In the name of God and of the dead generations from which she receives her old tradition of nationhood, Ireland, through us, summons her children to her flag and celebrates as one, as the Republic of Ireland is set to become United once more.
An agreement has been reached with the Government of the United Kingdom for the transfer of the state formerly known as Northern Ireland. With this agreement, the territory of Northern Ireland will be integrated into the Irish Republic in return for the payment of full development costs, with bonuses, to the UK. Ensuring a peaceful transaction and transitional period. The sum total of this cost is 1677g (Or 1916 Brunei Dollars, thanks Charlie) paid monthly to the UK treasury with the current development of the territory factored in also.
The decision was unanimously and overwhelmingly voted in favour through the Dáil Éireann, with each member voting yes, even when they weren't supposed to. Sorry Keon.
The UK have long been allies of Ireland and its people, from our time in BEER to the modern age, and we hope this deal not only reinforces relations, but strengthens in equal measure.
To this end, Ireland and its people shall continue to fight for the freedoms of our nations as allies. (Or until I am impeached)
