Fellow Danes,
A month ago I stood before you and made five promises. Today, before I ask for your vote again, I owe you an honest account of every single one of them.
Promise one: I said I would personally employ 8 citizens until they reached level 20. That promise was kept in spirit, though not exactly as written. Denmark did not grow fast enough to fill all 8 slots with new players. Rather than leave positions empty, experienced Danish citizens stepped in to fill the gap. The commitment to new citizens was honoured, and the employment continued. I am proud of how our community responded.
Promise two: I said my factory would be located on Danish soil, so that every kroner of income tax stayed in Denmark. Then Sweden occupied us. Again. I refuse to let my factory contribute to the Swedish economy while Danish soil is under foreign boots. Moving the factory was not a betrayal of the promise, it was the only way to honour its intention. The moment Denmark is free, the factory returns home. That is my commitment, and it stands.
Promise three: ministerial delegation and accountability. Kept. Each minister has been given clear responsibilities and has served as the point of contact for their area. Denmark's government is more organised than it was a month ago.
Promise four: the Danish Buddy Program. The circumstances never arose to make it necessary this term. New player numbers did not reach the level where the program was needed. It remains ready, and it will be activated the moment it is.
Promise five: the Greenland investigation. I have not concluded it. That is a failure of pace, not of intent. This term, it gets resolved. One way or another, Denmark will have an answer on Greenland before this presidency ends.
That is my record. Judge it honestly, as I have tried to present it honestly.
On Citizen Growth: Denmark's Most Important Battle
The Swedish occupation taught us something we cannot unlearn. Numbers matter. A nation with more citizens has more soldiers, more workers, more votes, and more resilience. Denmark cannot rely on allies alone to compensate for that gap forever. We must grow, and we must grow deliberately.
This term, citizen growth is not one priority among many. It is the priority.
What I Promise You
1. Continued Personal Employment
The commitment to personally employ new citizens until level 20 does not end with this term. As long as I am President and new Danes are arriving, I will ensure they have a place to work and a reason to stay. And if new players are slow to arrive, experienced Danes will continue to fill the gap so no position goes to waste.
2. Return to Danish Soil
Sweden occupies our land. My factory will not feed their treasury. The moment Denmark is liberated, my factory returns to Danish soil, no delays, no excuses. Every kroner of income tax belongs in the Danish treasury, and that is where it will go the moment it is possible.
3. Ministerial Delegation, Continued and Strengthened
What worked, we keep. Ministers will continue to hold clear responsibilities and serve as the point of contact for their area. This term I will go further, each minister will be expected to report publicly on their work, so every Dane can see what their government is actually doing.
4. A Public Presence Strategy
Denmark needs to be visible. New players looking for a home should find Denmark before they find anyone else. This term I will invest in Denmark's presence across social media, game forums, and online communities, making sure our story is told loudly, proudly, and often. A country that no one has heard of cannot grow.
5. The Danish Buddy Program
When new players arrive in sufficient numbers, they will not be left to figure things out alone. Every new Dane will be paired with an experienced citizen above level 20, who volunteers their time to answer questions and offer guidance. Each buddy takes on no more than 3 new players at a time. The program is ready and waiting for the moment Denmark needs it.
6. The Greenland Conclusion
The Greenland proposal has waited long enough, and this term it will be resolved. However, Sweden currently occupies Greenland as well as Denmark, meaning any factories built there right now would feed the Swedish treasury, an outcome that is just as unacceptable as it is on Danish soil. The investigation will be concluded and a clear public recommendation delivered to the Danish people this term. But the deal, if approved, will not come into effect until Greenland is free. Denmark will not hand Sweden a single kroner more than they have already taken by force.
These are not new dreams. They are unfinished business and renewed commitments, and you will be able to hold me to every one of them.
The Denmark We Are Still Building
A month ago I told you that freedom is not given. It is built, week by week, citizen by citizen. That has not changed. If anything, I believe it more deeply now than I did then.
Denmark is stronger than it was a month ago. It is not yet strong enough. That is exactly why this work is not finished, and exactly why I am asking for your vote.
