I pose a question to you all. Are we not a democracy?
Yes we have been going through the monthly elections and have Congress elected into their roles. The norm has been for members elected from the sole major party in Australia.
I propose that a secondary party gives a platform for debate in Congress as to the governance of Australia.
We don't have to blindly follow and accept the driving decisions of our leadership.
Debate drives improvement and innovation!
I created Token Opposition Party as a platform to drive debate. There was much discussion and support this idea in chat but did not translate to any people joining the party.
If elected to Congress I will give voice to those people who need help being heard. I will question the status quo where warranted and support the sound decisions where appropriate.
