Recently I was sent on a diplomatic mission from the Netherlands to Luxemburg in order to strengthen the friendships within the BeNeLux.

The trip took me 22 hours by bike, but I made it in time for the presidential elections. Having left my home country, it took me some time to find my way around and get to know the people.
Turns out, me and my big mouth felt right at home. I was unexpectedly ordained as Minister of Foreign Affairs, which is a great honour, a great pleasure, and occasionally a great headache. Turns out, I'm actually great at politics, and I also happen to know a thing or two about foreigners.
Thing is, as MoFA I am bound by law, but unable to propose laws in congress. For efficiency reasons (and general entertainment), I wish to change that by joining congress.

If you elect me as a member of congress:
My work as MoFA will become an estimated 23% more efficient.
I'll put the BeNeLux before all others.
I might let you borrow my bicycle.
Thank you for your attention, and remember: BeNeLux for life!
