After weeks of investigation, the plan of attack by the Southern Maritime Defence seem apparent. At first their movements made no sense but now, with the recent collapse of India it is all but confirmed.

They seem to have strategically employed tactics from a common board game "Risk". In Risk a common maneuver to win is to start in australia and solidify your position before moving across the board. This is referred to as the "Australia" strategy or "Turtle" strategy.

A brilliant move if I am to speak with all honesty since no one would expect an opponent to use this old board game strategy in modern warfare.
