THE BATTLE OF SOUTH ALBANIA
The Balkans have once again delivered and we have just seen a round with over 600 million damage combined. Many suspected this would be a giant Battle in the ongoing practically never stopping war between https://app.warera.io/alliance/6a2966e8f0f195d344d5158c and https://app.warera.io/alliance/6a2965afbc253b28fcf0d1c7, but maybe not this big. Now, one might notice that they have been numerous large battles on this specific region. Why is that?
THE IMPORTANCE OF SOUTH ALBANIA
South Albania is a core Albanian and ATLAS region thats connected to Southern Italy, the Naples province. Because of that, it often acts as a natural wall between the two alliances and a great attacking and defending point. If it wasn't for its ability to connect the Balkans and Italy, it would have nearly a strategic importance as it does now. It would also make reaching Italy really hard for ATLAS, as they would have to conquer Croatia and Slovenia all while getting attacked by Hungary to even reach Italy. But enough about is strategic importance, lets take a look at some screenshots I made during the Battle.
