Funny story actually, I was scrolling on Reddit back in October, and I saw a recruitment post in Egypt's subreddit by a South African player @68e52840f23d7a975dd7988d recruiting players to rise up against the colonialists in Africa, so I joined the game.

💠WEN Reporter: When you entered Egypt, the country was under Romanian occupation. What were the conditions like at that time? And did you ever imagine Egypt would one day become one of the strongest empires in the game?

I remember vividly, since I was the first Egyptian citizen in Egypt (everyone else had left). I recall we had a proxy Romanian president, who we ousted immediately, and 𝘄𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗱𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲.

I always knew Egypt would be something big tbh, from the beginning, when we were only a handful of players, you could tell the 𝗘𝗴𝘆𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘁. I didn't expect to be this good, but I expected and wanted Egypt to be a key player.

موستر✨: أتذكر تلك الفترة جيدًا، كنت أول مواطن مصري تقريبًا داخل مصر. قمنا بإسقاط الرئيس التابع لرومانيا وحاولنا استخدام الدبلوماسية في البداية.

ومنذ اللحظة الأولى كنت مؤمنًا أن مصر ستصبح دولة عظيمة، لأن الروح المصرية كانت واضحة حتى ونحن مجرد مجموعة صغيرة من اللاعبين.

Hmm great question as well. I can't go back to a single moment, but 𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 come to mind

I'd say the 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗟𝗶𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 /region/683ddd3d36dbc90b7804749d 𝗷𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗻 /country/683ddd2c24b5a2e114af15c3 , /country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac845 𝗮𝗻𝗱 /country/683ddd2c24b5a2e114af1600 was one of the key moments. Egypt had just regained its full independence, and immediately went to war and won in the levant.

It opened the door for a whole lot of opportunity, and was the first milita campaign had gone through. It brought us a lot closer to our friends in Iraq and Palestine, and got us on Türkiye's radar who became our friends later on.

💠WEN Reporter: Although Egypt's military capabilities were not the strongest at the time, Egypt later succeeded in defeating massive alliances, As ICPD. How did you manage to achieve that?

And in your opinion, what is the most important factor in major wars: military power, economy, or political alliances?

Egypt always relied on its close ties and respect for its allies, as well as critical thinking and planning. Our key relationship with allies helped us tremendously.

The first 2 are good to have, but 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀, 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗿𝗮. This is the key difference between us and the enen we're not just allies for mutual benetı. or personal aain. we're real friends.

𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘂𝘀, including ourselves, 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗲𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗾𝘂𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗱. This is what makes our allies different to many others.

And, what countries do you currently consider Egypt's closest allies? And how did the Olive Alliance begin?

Honestly I wouldn't say am one of the key architects at all, all credit genuinely goes to our brilliant MoD @695bfdc22c5a58564674a000 he truly cemented Egypt' allies after my short hiatus from political life.

Kudos goes to our allies in the Olive Union and Elereo too, who brought us together.

أما بالنسبه لحلفائنا فاقدمهم كان العراق فلسطين وكانوا اول اصدقاء لنا ثم حاليا أقرب حلفائنا هم الدول التي تقاتل معنا كقوة واحدة، خطة واحدة، خزينة واحدة، حتى أصبحنا لا نفرّق بين حليف وآخر.

It's part of the game. /country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac858 took iron, so it was a tax war between us We killed vnz, then raised taxes. It's not a loss of trust, we didn't pull an /country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac87d 45% tax like they did.

We've simply adjusted taxes according to what's going on. And contrary to many countries, our bonus never dropped below 31.5% even when we lost our core territory. 𝐄𝐆𝐘𝐏𝐓 𝐈𝐒 𝐀 𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐘 𝐒𝐀𝐅𝐄 𝐄𝐍𝐕𝐈𝐑𝐎𝐍𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓,, and we never tax unaccording to the market and the world.

المراسل💠: ما ردكم على اتهامات بعض اللاعبين لمصر باستخدام ما يسمونه “الفخ الضريبي” عبر خفض الضرائب ثم رفعها بشكل مفاجئ؟

موستر✨: هذا جزء من اللعبة. عندما سيطرت فنزويلا على الحديد دخلنا في حرب اقتصادية معها، وبعدها قمنا برفع الضرائب بما يناسب الوضع. الأمر ليس خيانة للثقة، بل مجرد إدارة اقتصادية حسب ظروف السوق والحرب. ورغم كل الظروف، لم ينخفض البونص المصري عن 31.5% حتى بعد خسارة بعض الأراضي الأساسية، وهو ما يجعل مصر بيئة مستقرة وآمنة اقتصاديًا مقارنة بدول كثيرة أخرى.

Well, /user/6813b75aefecdf9bab1952b5 was president before AND after me, and now /user/694b14fd05a8af7b9e14911e is president. They're both very diplomatic and we continue each other. Each has his own agenda, and strengths. I think 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗮𝗱𝗱 𝗮 𝗹𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆.

I'd tried really hard to leave the political life, but many attest to my eloquent way of dealing with enemy and ally alike, and my great negotiating skills. Am also ve well informed on most things and that might be why am still in the loop.

To the leaders: Organization, organization, organization. If your nation is not organized, and your allies carry grudges, you're doomed.
