Serbia came under attack from five different countries — Vatican, Turkiye, Slovenia, Bulgaria, and Malta all opened battles against it within hours of each other, the heaviest simultaneous pressure any country has faced in our coverage so far.
Germany fought the highest-damage completed battle of the day, defeating Luxembourg 130.9M to 113.8M (244.7M combined) — a result that underlined Germany's commanding lead atop the weekly damage rankings, now past 1.4 billion.
Iran had a standout day of its own, winning two separate big battles: against Mongolia (118.2M to 109.7M) and against Poland (111.2M to 87.5M). Kazakhstan responded by declaring war on Mongolia, opening a new front in the region. Venezuela narrowly held off Colombia in a tight fight (106.8M to 102.2M), and Romania beat Bulgaria in another close big battle (60.5M to 56.9M).
The wider alliance conflict kept setting new marks: B.E.E.R vs The Inglourious Basterds passed 2.56 billion in combined damage across 9 battles, while ATLAS vs Reservoir Dogs reached 31 clashes — the most persistent rivalry tracked by far, now at 1.95 billion combined.
Lithuania found itself fighting Russia and Iran at the same time, both wars opening within the same minute. The Iran front became the day's featured active battle at 137.7 million live damage, with Egypt, the Netherlands, Uruguay, Poland, and Belgium all backing Lithuania's defense. Israel opened a new front against Egypt over a region holding rare earth deposits — losing it would have cut off another Egyptian region from its capital.
Elsewhere, Bahamas beat the United States again (1.8M to 236K), North Macedonia beat Greece twice in one day, and Mali beat Guinea-Bissau in a massive fight — before the two countries made peace hours later (more in Diplomacy).

Kazakhstan severed its defensive pact with Iran and, in the same window, declared war on Mongolia — a clean pivot away from B.E.E.R and toward the Steppes Horde bloc, timed right as Iran was already fighting on two other fronts.
Colombia moved fast to rebuild its alliance network, signing three separate defensive pacts in a single day — with Liberia, Morocco, and Argentina — shortly after its narrow battle loss to Venezuela. The timing suggests a deliberate post-battle consolidation rather than coincidence.
Mali and Guinea-Bissau formally ended their conflict just hours after fighting one of the day's biggest battles against each other. Iraq stepped back from two fronts at once, signing peace with both Serbia and Romania on the same afternoon. Vietnam and India formed a new pact, and Iran added Finland as an ally even while fighting on two fronts. Estonia elected a new president, xXGNOMEMANXx.

Bulgaria was the day's most-funded country, collecting a combined 6,600 from five nations: Croatia sent twice (1,100 and 1,000), plus South Africa (1,000), Turkiye (1,000), Libya (1,000), and Greece (500) — a flow that lines up closely with Bulgaria's ongoing wars against Romania and North Macedonia.
Iran received 6,000 total — 3,000 each from Portugal and Sudan — arriving right around its two big battle wins of the day. India sent 2,500 to Afghanistan, and Lithuania transferred another 1,283 to Poland, continuing its steady wartime support. The United Arab Emirates made three small symbolic transfers of 6.9 each, to Kuwait, Syria, and Iraq.
Resource prospectors had a very active day, with over 20 new deposits discovered across the map. Several region transfers also took place between neighboring countries; we're still working on resolving exactly which side buys and which sells in these trades.

Husaru Batalionas remained the top Military Unit at 333 million weekly damage, ahead of Bountypon (258.7M), Husaria (236.7M), VYTIS (230.6M), and Ultima Ratio (228.0M) — Lithuanian units dominating the top ranks, consistent with Lithuania's #2 spot among countries.
Serbia took over the all-time ban rankings with 11, ahead of Lithuania (8) and a tie between Iraq and Egypt (7 each). Multi-accounting stayed the dominant offense by far (45 cases), followed by uncategorized violations (26) and explicit Rule 1 citations (12). One player was banned under Rule 7.3.f for fascist symbolism combined with repeat offending.
East Timor got a new Minister of Foreign Affairs, Archer_Bluebird — the only government change tracked across all countries.
Community press: Cardinal_Severin's satirical piece on football tactics and bribery topped the day (241 views), while coriando's strategy guide "The 5 W's of War Builds" was the most-liked (29 likes). Cafi_J_Sins_Wifey's piece on DR Congo as a resource bonus zone drew strong engagement, and player IkillforFun announced a community-built WarEra Dashboard tracking tool on GitHub — worth keeping an eye on. Malta, meanwhile, is publicly recruiting for a new Minister of Economy, according to an article by Chiorico.
