A day after fighting the largest battle ever recorded, Serbia and Italy clashed again — and Serbia won again, 7.2 million to 2.7 million. That was just one of four wins for Serbia today: it also beat Austria in a big battle (19.96M to 15.9M) and held off Moldova, all while opening fresh fronts against Malta and Slovenia.

Guatemala had its best day yet, winning three separate battles — twice against Iran and once against Mongolia (23.7M to 18.4M). South Korea beat Japan again, this time by an even wider margin than before (147.6M to 114.1M). Poland edged out Iran in one of the tightest big battles on record, winning by less than half a million damage (111.6M to 111.1M).

Spain declared war on Senegal and won a massive battle the same day (163.1M to 151.7M), a striking debut on this scale. Two large battles remain active: Slovenia vs Serbia (93.4 million live damage, with Serbia risking a step toward isolating one of its own regions) and Benin vs Burkina Faso (82.7 million, fought over a diamond-rich region).

United Korea broke three pacts at once — with Eritrea, Oman, and Iraq — all within the same minute, a sudden and unexplained retreat from its diplomatic commitments.

Vatican elected a new president, Pope_Crowley_IV. Haiti joined the Steppes Horde alliance, and Benin joined The Inglourious Basterds. Senegal and Guinea-Bissau's relationship soured fast — their defensive pact broke, and Guinea-Bissau declared war on Senegal within the same hour.

In a notable twist, Germany made peace with both the United States and France on the same day — two separate ceasefires ending conflicts that had simmered for a while. Colombia kept expanding its network too, adding Kyrgyzstan and Oman as new partners.

Venezuela had a remarkably active day as a seller, parting with three separate regions: one liberated back to Haiti, one sold to the Bahamas, and one sold to Mexico for a symbolic 1 coin — that last one holding a diamond deposit. Elsewhere, Vietnam sold a uranium-rich region to China, and Iran sold a region to Finland for 1,000 — by far the largest region trade of the day.

Croatia sent Hungary a solid 2,200, and Portugal backed Burkina Faso with 2,000. Yemen was unusually active as a donor today, sending smaller sums to Sweden, Romania, and Georgia across separate transfers.

It was another very active day for exploration, with more than 25 new resource deposits discovered across the map.

Yemen remained #1 at 61.5% (limestone), with India at 60.5% (iron), and Serbia and DR Congo tied at 60% (steel and iron respectively).

Community press: the day's most-read piece announced the formation of a new mercenary coalition, the "Baddiestic Mercenary State" (222 views). A widely shared post claimed the founding of an opposition movement in Lithuania. Nepal saw a curious government swap today — its Vice-President and Defense Minister effectively traded jobs with each other.
