In a tense political climate, Vice President Babu Frik announced his candidacy for the Party Council of the https://app.warera.io/party/698d4dc1ee24e773580fcf44 last night in Zurich, delivering unusually clear and forceful remarks. In light of the current occupation of large parts of Switzerland by France and Italy, Frik placed the restoration of full sovereignty at the center of his speech.
“Our nation is facing one of its greatest trials,”
Frik told party members.
“But we will not surrender our values or our right to self-determination. Switzerland belongs to its citizens and to no one else.”
Frik emphasized that he is working intensively alongside Foreign Minister https://app.warera.io/user/699e16dfb9a3b26095e2caf2 to find a diplomatic solution. The goal, he said, is to restore the country’s territorial integrity peacefully while maintaining stability in Europe.
“We rely on dialogue, on negotiation, and on the strength of our convictions. Not on escalation.”

“Now more than ever, we need clear leadership and the determination to defend our interests without compromise. That is why I am running.”
With his bid for the Party Council, Frik is advocating a decisive course: a

and a political agenda firmly rooted in the interests of its people. The upcoming election is thus gaining additional significance. It will also signal how the Alpine Confederation intends to respond to the current crisis.
