To the War Era public and leaders of neighboring nations,
The leadership vacuum that occurred in our country just 13 hours before the presidential elections unfortunately led to a short-term diplomatic crisis. A distinct individual using the nickname "OC" took advantage of the empty administration, seized temporary control, and made the irrational move of declaring war on every country in the world.
We are aware of the confusion this situation has caused among our neighbors and allies. Please be advised that all war declarations made during that period served no strategic purpose; they were merely the result of a leadership lapse and an act of trolling. We ask that you consider all hostile messages and war declarations sent during that time as "null and void." It was a mistake, and it has been corrected.
This brief period of interregnum is over. Following the elections and with the support of the people, I have taken office as the new President of Azerbaijan.
The seat of government is now in safe hands. Our goal is to erase the administrative inconsistencies of the past few hours and demonstrate a management style worthy of state seriousness. Chaotic decisions will be replaced by strategic planning and diplomatic maturity. Under my new administration, Azerbaijan will take its place on the stage as a predictable and stable actor.
As the new administration, our clear message to our neighbors and the world is this: Azerbaijan has no eyes on the territory of any neighboring country.
Our primary and essential duty is not to pursue an "expansionist policy," but to absolutely ensure the security of our own borders. Our declarations of war will never be for aggression, but solely for defense against elements threatening our national security. We respect the territorial integrity of our neighbors and expect the same respect for our own lands. We will be friends with those who wish to live in peace, and distant towards those who covet our lands.
Wars consume resources; trade creates them. Our main vision in this new era is to strengthen ourselves through economic development, not military conflict.
We will spend our energy not on the frontlines, but in production facilities and on trade routes. Our greatest aim is to strengthen our economic infrastructure, increase the welfare of our people, and use our resources efficiently. A strong army is only possible with a strong economy; therefore, our priority is production and growth. Our doors are open to all countries wishing to trade.
