So I have seen many people gambling on chests and their contents, and after losing everything, asking for money. All of them would just say the elite cases are lesser than 10 normal cases. And therefore, you can sell hundreds and thousands of normal cases for buying 1/10th of the elite cases and walk away with mythic equipment or weapons.
Unless you want scraps to make items of your preference. But in that case as well, the normal cases do not justify the cost. Even if we consider 3.5 to be the price of a normal case. Which I didn’t give you a grey item which can be dismantled into six scraps and each scrap costing 0.2 - 0.3, that means in general, a normal case would give 1.8 coins worth of scraps on the cost of 3.5 per case. A loss of 48.57%.
You can say that the percentage can be even worse when you get green items from the elite case, but the main selling point of the elite case is that you can get mythic items.
