Coming Cleanly

BabuFebruary 6, 2026other

As some of you might have noticed, yesterday I was briefly punished for mod abuse:

My Mute Description

This immediately raised questions in chat. Many didn’t even know I was a mod, and people were understandably confused, how can a non-mod be punished for mod abuse?

So, for the sake of transparency, and with https://app.warera.io/user/6813b758efecdf9bab195068’s approval, I’ve decided to come clean.

For those who know me and the mod team, it’s no secret that /user/6813b758efecdf9bab195068 has been begging me for months to become a mod. His argument was that, with my below-average intelligence, I would be a great asset for relating to our playerbase, helping to understand their behavior, predict their crimes, and generally make moderating easier.

From my side, I really didn’t want to mod, as you can see from my initial reaction:

However, my strong sense of duty eventually got the better of me, and I finally caved in to https://app.warera.io/user/6813b758efecdf9bab195068’s many requests. I only asked for one small compromise: that my admin badge wouldn’t be visible, so all my friends wouldn’t think I’m a nolife loser.

And that’s how I became a mod.

Now, about the punishment.

I was drunk, and I may have muted some of my opps who I find annoying, you probably know who they are. Honestly, I don’t even think they noticed. Still, https://app.warera.io/user/6813b758efecdf9bab195068 punished me because, apparently, I’m not supposed to use mod tools for that.

I apologize for taking advantage of my position to bully the weak.

So please, in your future dealings with me, remember that I am a mod, and that I am not afraid to abuse those powers.

Thread carefully.
