I believe that in our first interview with Benesum, we all saw just how ambitious and dedicated he is. And now it’s official: Benesum is officially Number 1 in the wealth rankings!
However, there is another detail I would like to highlight, which I personally find even more impressive than taking the top spot itself: Benesum achieved the truly impossible by accumulating 150,000 Gold before even reaching Level 40. I firmly believe that his true achievement lies within this unbelievable determination. I sincerely congratulate him on this tremendous success!

As a follower who has been closely tracking your progress, first of all, congratulations! How do you feel after such a long and exhausting journey, and what can you tell us about this ride?
Regarding the journey: When I first started, the market was still very volatile. When people quit, you could sometimes buy steel or concrete cheaply and quickly resell it at a higher price. At that time, I didn't have enough money to take advantage of every opportunity, only a portion of them. I started with a few materials, and as my wealth grew, so did the variety; at times, I was trading 8-10 different products.
Over time, more traders appeared, and groups were even formed with varying degrees of success. Though nowadays, I’d say none of them exist anymore. Currently, there are mostly just explicit or implicit agreements to set the same price so that people don't have to be hyperactive while maintaining a better margin.
Up until the 40k mark, there were people I thought might reach Rank 1 before me. But for various reasons, they stopped gathering money so rapidly. I often monitored the differences in the Top 10 and realized that Mahinda would likely be my final "opponent" until the very end, since a 4k BTC difference is quite a substantial gap.
It was a good and relieving feeling to have finally made it after months of hard work. I was particularly pleased with the many positive reactions to the articles I published. I guess I'll still be looking at the rankings a bit nervously over the next few days^^
What are your goals from now on?
Now that I am finally Rank 1, I will take trading a bit easier for a short period so I can give myself a "vacation" from it :KEKW: . As soon as I build a small lead over Rank 2, I will reskill for war and start climbing the DMG rankings. Since I am certain it will take over a year before I can realistically land in the Top 10 there, I am not pursuing a concrete goal for it just yet.
Additionally, purely for prestige, I want to win an MU (Military Unit) tournament once. However, I need to make sure the other members of the MU also have enough EQ ready and invest, as this is not a cheap battle.
Every now and then, I play with the idea of setting a new DMG record in a battle. But for that, I first need to collect enough military ranks and then find an optimal battle with the highest possible DMG bonus, which is why I don't know if I'll actually do it. Once the Prestige system is introduced, it will also be easier to set a higher record with each prestige.
Nevertheless, I will make sure to maintain Rank 1 in Wealth. If I earn too little from trading, I might have to temporarily return to ECO for short periods.
In your opinion, what is the most effective way to gain wealth? In short, which method did you rely on the most while growing your wealth?
For those who want to see exact numbers, I can only refer to my article. I won't be able to calculate precisely how much BTC I made with what. However, my main business has always been trading raw materials. I only started crafting EQ very late. And as for crates, I’ve only opened about 8k. I simply don't trust my own luck; I could probably open 50k crates without getting a single red item :KEKW:
What did you pay the most attention to while building this wealth? Did you make any mistakes? If so, what lessons did you learn from them?
The foundation is the standard income through skilling/company employees; if that isn't effective, you're already losing massive amounts of money right there.
Yeah, mistakes happen and are always made. Best example: Recently, I bought scrap for 0.225 hoping to sell it for 0.229. Currently, it's just sitting in my inventory, and I'll have to wait a very long time before I can get rid of it.
Sometimes you just have to accept that you won't make a profit or might even take a small loss if you want to trade heavily and quickly.

There are always people trying to gain an unfair advantage through multis or bots—don't even try it. What is there to be proud of in such a case if you manage to achieve something?
Furthermore, do not exploit your own teammates from your own nation. You should always try to reach a goal together rather than having one person stand out at the expense of other teammates—this applies strictly to allied players, of course. For enemy players, go for it, that's just a different kind of warfare^^
