Congress Candidate Statement – ne_grote_met_mayo

Mes chers compatriotes, beste vrienden, fellow warriors of Belgium,

For the first time, I, ne_grote_met_mayo, proudly put myself forward as candidate for the Belgian Congress.

Not because I seek titles.
Not because I seek glory.
But because I believe Belgium’s best days are still ahead of us.

We Belgians have lived through the highs and the lows of the Warera life.

We expanded across the map, from Europe to the Americas. Unstoppable and impossible to ignore like a fresh pak friet on a Friday eve after work. Belgium rose from a humble kingdom into a mighty force. Our flag flew proudly over vast lands, our dmg numbers were insane, and our enemies looked at us thinking: amai those Smurfs. 

But… as every true Belgian knows:
After sunshine comes rain… usually a lot of rain. 

Recent battles have not been kind. We have taken losses. We have lost land. We have been pushed back.

And now?

Now we return to our roots.

Most of Belgium is currently in eco mode and frankly, we do what we do best in eco mode: work hard, complain a bit, drink a beer, and rebuild stronger than before.

My focus as congress member will be clear:

💰 Economic Recovery First
No reckless wars. No pointless adventures. We rebuild the treasury, strengthen industry, and prepare our comeback. A rich Belgium is a dangerous Belgium.

🏛️ Working Together with the Current Government
I am not here to create division or unnecessary conflict. The current government has guided Belgium through difficult times, and they deserve respect for that. I believe in cooperation, constructive ideas, and teamwork to move Belgium forward. Where the government succeeds, I will support it. Where improvement is needed, I will bring solutions, not complaints. 

🏰 Strategic Growth
We expand only when the moment is right. No more overextending like putting too much satékruiden on your fries. Calculated moves. Smart diplomacy. Efficient conquest.

🤝 Strong Alliances
Belgium stands stronger with trusted friends. We respect our true alliances and work together, because survival is easier when the beers are shared. But the “allies” who enjoy our fries but don’t buy a round of beer when it’s their turn, must be held accountable.

⚔️ A Comeback for the History Books
We may be down today… but tomorrow? Tomorrow we rise again. And when Belgium returns, we’ll return big.

So vote for ne_grote_met_mayo.
For recovery, for Belgium and for a great comeback.
