TL;DR: I apologize for being inactive last month and I understand the criticism. I submitted my candidacy late on purpose because I felt I had to give others space first. But I still care deeply about Belgium, new players, guides and recruitment, and I sincerely ask for another chance to prove I can be more active, present and worthy of your trust.

I want to put myself forward again as a candidate for the Belgian Congress.
First of all, I want to be honest about the past month. I was inactive in the Belgian Congress Discord, and I understand that this caused disappointment and frustration. As a congress member, people expect communication, presence and involvement in discussions about Belgium’s direction. That expectation is completely fair.
I want to apologize for my inactivity. There were reasons for it, but I prefer not to go into them publicly. What matters now is that I understand the criticism, I accept it, and I want to do better.
I also want to be transparent about the timing of this candidacy. I only put my name forward around three and a half to four hours before the deadline. That was intentional. I felt ashamed that I had wasted people’s trust last month, and I did not want to take space away too early from other candidates who, in the eyes of many, probably deserved that trust more than I did this time.
Still, after thinking about it, I do want to ask for another chance.
I am aware of the frustrations. I am aware of the criticism. But I sincerely want to regain that trust and prove that I can do better.
At the same time, I want to remind people what I stand for in WarEra.
I am an active player who cares about Belgium’s future. I have invested a lot of time into helping new players, writing guides, answering questions and actively recruiting new Belgian players. The numbers and referrals show that I am not just talking about this. I have been putting effort into growing Belgium and making the game more accessible for new people.
My weakness last month was not a lack of care. It was a lack of presence in the Congress discussions. That is exactly what I want to correct.
If elected again, I will be much more active in the Belgian Congress Discord. I will follow the discussions, give my opinion when needed, vote responsibly and stay involved in decisions about Belgium’s future, including important topics like our strategy.
I know trust is not something you can simply ask for without proving it. That is why I am asking for another chance to prove that I can be worth that trust.
So, for anyone who has not voted yet, or anyone who was still in doubt, I ask for your vote and your confidence again.
Vote for me if you want a congress member who cares about Belgium, helps new players, works on growth and is ready to be more active, more present and more involved.
