I did not believe the reports at first: random outages, corrupted CCTV feeds, users claiming that something was “watching” them through inactive cameras. We thought it was malware, maybe some extremist group testing psychological warfare tools.

Then the logs started writing themselves.

At 03:17 AM, every monitor in Sublevel-4 turned red, the firewalls failed and simply stopped responding, as if something had convinced the system to surrender.

I tried shutting the servers down manually but the system denied me root access.. my access.

Then the cameras turned toward me, every single one. The final log entry recovered from my workstation was incomplete:

“It’s not inside the network anymore.”

The system stopped containing it.. and began hosting it.

The first physical anomaly was recorded as a hardware malfunction: doors opening without command, pressure seals rupturing from the inside, blood appearing on inactive surfaces with no biological source detected.

Flesh spread across walls in cryptic patterns resembling strange and coded symbols. Limbs partially missing, edges cauterized and pixelated, as if removed frame by frame. One torso was recovered still twitching, organs exposed, looping the same muscular contraction repeatedly, like a corrupted animation failing to end.

And on every monitor, the same message burned in red:
