THE ONE WITH THE DARK GLASSES

No one really knows why it started, but within certain WarEra groups, people began talking about a player who would appear and disappear at will. His most recognized name was "Yoni or Johnny", though others called him Apparat, Inti, Moderat, Archive, Ares, among many others. However, almost everyone agreed on calling him “The one with the dark glasses”, because that was the only thing those who claimed to have seen him could ever remember: round, dark lenses that seemed to reflect something that wasn't on the screen.

At first, it seemed like a simple joke on the Chilean Dc. They said that sometimes, after massive late-night battles, strange noises would start coming from the PC or even the phone, wherever you were playing. Some spoke of interference, soft tapping inside their headphones, or keys clicking on their own. Eventually, they would start seeing the silhouette of a man dressed in black with dark glasses reflected somewhere on the screen. They thought it was a bug or perhaps an in-game easter egg, but the strange thing was that it almost always happened when they had been under the effects of the pill for hours due to a battle as if he appeared right at the moment they were too deep into the game and the comedown was starting to hit.

The weirdness escalated later, when several players began receiving the same link via private message: ArcanaEra.
It was a site where you could access multiple tools; however, they claimed to feel strange, as if there were something behind the page draining their energy. Almost everyone described the same thing: strange dreams, delusions of chaos, absolute silence, and a single light on in the distance. Under that light stood him. Always still. Always with those black glasses. He never walked, but every night he seemed to be a little closer.

One player recounted that after three nights of dreaming about him, he woke up at 3:17 AM because he heard his keyboard clicking. The computer was off, but a key kept being pressed slowly, as if someone were typing with one hand. He didn’t want to look immediately. When he finally turned on the lamp, he saw two round marks on the black monitor screen, as if someone had leaned a pair of glasses against the glass from the outside. Since then, he stopped sleeping well. His family said he would sometimes stare into dark corners of the house as if someone were there. One night, he even talked in his sleep, and the next day he found his browser open to ArcanaEra with a message different from before: “Last night, you said your name.”
The disturbing part is that after that, he deleted all his accounts and never returned to the game.

There are those who believe Yoni or Johnny is just a story created among exhausted players people with insomnia, stress, or delusions from spending too many nights in front of the screen. But others swear that no matter how much time passes: once you see him inside the game, sooner or later you find those glasses again in a reflection, a window, a dark monitor, or a hallway where you swore you were alone.

I don't know if it's real, but happened to me last night after playing WarEra.
