Hello. It is Day 43.
The shelling has finally ceased. Namibia has stopped their daily attacks on our Mozambique operations, probably because they got tired of wasting expensive artillery on an office building that just keeps sending them automated invoice reminders.
The international front is quiet for now, but on the main business floor? The war has never been hotter.
Now that the dust is settling over the border, my entire executive focus is back where it belongs: relentless, uncompromising corporate warfare against Vatou. He thinks because the Namibian tanks pulled back that he can relax and enjoy his afternoon tea. He is dead wrong.
I walked right up to his cubicle, pulled out my giant red marker, and drew a massive, bold arrow on his whiteboard pointing directly at the word COMPLIANCE.
"The foreign military may have given you a break, Vatou," I said, leaning in with absolute corporate authority, "but I do not do ceasefires. Fix the flag, or I will conduct a surprise audit on your entire browser history."
He nearly spilled his tea into his keyboard.
Namibia may have laid down their arms, but my attack on Vatou’s corrupted regime will never, ever stop until those pixels are flipped right-side up.
Now, I have to go buy a victory-ceasefire alcohol.
