Hello. It is Day 45.๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฟ
Since we are now thinking completely outside the box, I decided to consult the greatest corporate strategy guide ever written: The Art of War.
First thing this morning, I printed out a famous quote from Sun Tzu in giant 72-point bold font, walked into Vatouโs office, and taped it right over the top of his computer screen:
"In the midst of chaos, there is also opportunity."
โ Sun Tzu probably
Vatou stared at the piece of paper covering his monitor, then looked up at me with dead, exhausted eyes. "What opportunity?" he asked.
"The opportunity to flip the Mozambique flag right-side up before I execute another strategic strike," I replied, folding my arms to look like an ancient, highly dangerous warlord in a trench coat.
He ripped the Sun Tzu quote off his screen, but the psychological damage was already done. He knows I am no longer just an executive doing an auditโI am a military mastermind utilizing ancient tactical wisdom against his corrupted workflow.
Chaos is on the business floor, Vatou. And I am bringing the opportunity.
Now, I have to go buy an ancient warlord alcohol.
