Hello. It is Day 49.
Today I executed Phase One of the simplified dark protocol: The Silent Counter Audit.
No loud announcements, no giant whiteboard markers, and definitely no memos near MadoAlice’s desk. I spent the entire morning sitting at my desk, quietly doing actual paperwork, while keeping a steady, unblinking executive eye on Vatou.
He was visibly twitching all day. He kept looking over his shoulder, waiting for me to pull a loud trick or hand him a fake award. But I just smiled a polite, professional corporate smile and went back to my spreadsheets.
The silence is driving him far crazier than the box ever did. He doesn't know what we are planning, and more importantly, Admin MadoAlice has zero evidence to delay the ticket any further.
We are back in the shadows, keeping it simple, and holding the line until the SpecOps budget gets approved. Then the true Audit shall begin.
Now, I have to go buy a low profile alcohol.
