With this writing I am officially informing you of my candidacy for congress, after being assigned Minister of Economy.
After lurking in the shadows, studying the intricacies of this world, its inner workings, freshening up some economic knowledge and being an obsessive nerd in general, I have gained some insights. I will lay these out, along with my plans and let them speak for themselves. This will be pretty boring stuff, but rest assured it is all with only one ultimate goal in mind: achieve total world domination.
Optimize economic growth - for citizens and country - regardless of military decisions. I stay in my lane.
I will continue acquiring as much information as possible with the help of tools and the community. I am an independent candidate with no affiliation to any party. To gain trust in my decisions, they will be explained fully and open. Only after a period of scrutinization will they be implemented. All input is welcome, regardless of political colors. I would be very happy to welcome knowledgeable or interested people in my cabinet.

Although these are mostly small matters of optimization, they are the ones we can control, as opposed to population growth, game updates, enemy behaviour, market uncertainty,... Ultimately, this is where the game is decided, especially when facing equal opponents.
Will we only be facing equal opponents? Initially no. However, if becoming the strongest country in the world is the goal, eventually we will. That is, until they are also gone.
