Defence Update: LEGO Deployed to Beaches and Øresund Bridge Secured

Danish defence officials today issued a new operational update, confirming that preparations against Swedish aggression have entered what military planners are calling “the plastic phase.”

Along vulnerable coastal areas, Home Guard units have begun strewing selected beaches with defensive LEGO, creating what one spokesman described as “a low-cost, high-pain denial zone for any enemy foolish enough to attempt a landing without proper footwear.”

The measure has already been praised for its simplicity, national availability, and proven ability to ruin momentum within seconds. Engineers report that mixed brick sizes have been prioritized to maximize confusion, instability, and sudden shouting.

At the same time, authorities confirmed that special defensive blockages have been established on the Øresund Bridge. These include reinforced checkpoints, vehicle obstacles, and substantial reserves of LEGO intended to slow any advancing force while giving Danish defenders time to regroup, shout instructions, and make coffee.

Military analysts believe the bridge fortifications may prove especially effective, as any invading column forced to halt on the crossing would face not only Danish resistance, but also the psychological collapse associated with stepping on sharp building bricks under battlefield conditions.

The Ministry of Defence has urged citizens to remain calm and not remove any LEGO from operational areas, even if they recognize it as their own.
