A COUNTRY WITHOUT ROADS?

Imagine wanting to visit the next town — but you can't simply get in your car and drive there.

In Greenland, there are no roads connecting its towns and settlements!

Helicopters serve many smaller settlements.

Boats and ferries connect communities along the coast.

Of course, people still use cars, buses and taxis within many towns. But when it comes to travelling from one town to another, the sea and sky are Greenland's highways.

🇬🇱 Every wednesday, discover a little more about the real Greenland.
