The three candidates faced eight questions in a public debate last night. Here's what stood out.

On burnout and the cult of the overworked President:
all three agreed the office demands too much of one person — but framed the fix differently. Suit wants an empowered cabinet that "functions independently." Kingio wants more new players brought into government as a pipeline for future leaders. DancingCow put it most plainly: "If I am the only one making important decisions. Then the country is fucked."
On their understanding of South Africa's alliances and agreements: the answers diverged sharply. Kingio revealed he built the Republic's agreement bot himself, and has read back through "the past 2 months" of embassy chats. Suit leaned on his record: "I was a diplomat for this country for 100 days, I hope I know our foreign affairs." DancingCow offered the most candid answer of the night: "No, I struggle. I forward all important messages to my private dc server incase I forget something."
On daily commitment, the gap was wide. Kingio: "I am chronically online. The longest I'm offline for is when I sleep." DancingCow is committed to 6–8 hours but flagged upcoming exams. Suit offered 4–5 hours, with the caveat that family or his girlfriend would take priority — "I'd do anything for family."
On new player onboarding — the question of the night, asked by a new player themselves https://app.warera.io/user/69ee3b2f915e8c144eb6662d— the philosophical split was clearest. Suit plans to scale through video tutorials and educational streams. Kingio plans to message new players individually: "200 messages, it takes 10sec to write, that's not that much time, considering how much kak I talk ingame." DancingCow promised a personal welcome from himself or, in his absence, a delegated minister.
The night was not without comedy. When asked to name one good and one bad quality of his opponents, Suit opened with: "Dancingcow is an active member and quick learner, but he polish—" before retracting. He recovered. The Republic moved on.
Asked about his plan to fix presidential burnout, Kingio offered a serious answer about distributed government, then added: "Unserious answer: I'd become dictator for life."
And in perhaps the night's most unexpected moment, citizen https://app.warera.io/user/69196f4f6021f881e21f90fb appeared briefly in the chat with the words: "Did I just enter the presidential race? Feeling like Kamala Harris rn." No formal candidacy was filed. None has been ruled out.

Three candidates. Three temperaments. One who would build systems, one who would build relationships, and one who would build, by his own admission, a forwarded-messages folder.
