There is a saying that wars are won with strategy, diplomacy, and discipline.
Unfortunately, some people skipped all three.
After years of fighting for Angola, helping secure its independence, and serving the country through countless conflicts, I eventually decided it was time for a change. I reinvented myself as Spider-Man and moved to Japan, where I spent my days as a full-time mercenary. It was a refreshing break from politics, governments, and endless diplomatic headaches.
Eventually, Angola woke up again.
The country's leadership decided it was time to become active once more, so I answered the call and returned home. I kept my mercenary work on the side, but Angola once again became my priority.
Not long after my return, South Africa was on the verge of disappearing from the map. The country was being relentlessly invaded, and Angola had its SR leased there.
Then Namibia entered the story.
They sent a message asking whether they could have Angola's SR. Our President and Vice President happened to be online for a short time but never replied. They most likely logged in to do something else and simply didn't notice the message.
A reasonable person would wait.
A diplomat would follow up later.
The dumbasses launched an invasion.
To make matters even better, they still called it "negotiation."
Their proposal was essentially:
"We're attacking you because we need your SR. Whether you agree or not, we're going to take it. You can at least get paid."
That isn't diplomacy.
That isn't negotiation.
That's extortion with extra steps.
Our position was straightforward:
"We do not negotiate while under attack."
If Namibia truly wanted to discuss the SR, they could have agreed to a ceasefire first. Once the fighting stopped, we could sit down and negotiate like civilized people. Maybe the answer would be yes. Maybe no. Maybe there would be another solution.
Instead, they made it clear that the SR would be theirs one way or another.
Some people genuinely believe that asking for permission loses all meaning the moment they don't immediately get an answer.
Those people are dumbasses.
So here we are.
They keep attacking.
We keep defending.
