Egypt bot farming is a massive problem to the server

I never really understood people who cheat at online games, but it never really effected or bothered me that much, but the situation that is going with Egypt is detrimental to the server economy as a whole.

just today, 210 new "players" joined Egypt.

in the last 4 days, 560 new "players" joined Egypt, at the surface it sounds like a massive success to the server, if Egypt is growing so fast, other countries must as well aren't they?

well... no.

while Egypt had 560 new "players" in the last 4 days, Germany, the #1 country in terms of active people only got 44 new players, Portugal? 29 players
the Netherlands is the closest one after that with 75 new players, which is almost 1/8 the amount of Egypt!

now the question is, if so many players are joining Egypt, why aren't they at #1? and more importantly, why do they stay at #3? the answer is very simple, a constant supply of new bots to keep their numbers high, old ones get deactivated, new ones join.

why am I so sure they are bots?

its usually really easy to find bots, just check for users who haven't changed their name and doing odd things, what odd things? I'll give an example:

and these are just two random accounts out of hundreds of same examples

i think its safe to assume that a new player that had logged for the first time will look for a few minutes, read, try to do a quest or two and generally check the game.

what they probably wont do is log on, open all cases, sell everything they can, including their starting company and materials ( ignoring the warnings ) and donate all the profits to the state only to never log again.

why is that a massive problem?

beside a blatant cheating and a complete disregard for the rules and fair play, the fact is that each bot can deal ~1000-1500 dmg, which is ~700K dmg before armor and weapons, something that can tip the scale in a war , and of course we must look at the effect this thing has on the economy.

each account can sell their company and starting materials at buying value for ~75 ( this is a VERY rough estimate, since it's been a very long time since I started ).

by donating everything to Egypt, they are able to get over 20000 coins just through bot donations this week alone, with 40k donations in a day being a real possibility.

this also has a detrimental effect on the game economy
flooding the market with items that no one worked for, thus reducing their value for actual players.

I call the mods to do SOMETHING about it, punish this sort of behavior and maybe introduce a better botting detection and ban mechanics.
