EGYPT | MOFA OFFICIAL STATEMENT: EXTENSION AND RENEWAL OF THE TRIPARTITE PEACE TREATY

Following a series of meetings, consultations, and constructive discussions between the representatives of Egypt, Libya, Sudan, and South Sudan, the four parties have reached a mutual understanding to extend the existing Peace and Non-Aggression framework.
The parties have reaffirmed their shared commitment to peace, non-aggression, mutual security, dialogue, and regional stability, and have agreed to continue the treaty until 31 October 2026.
The renewal reflects the parties’ common interest in maintaining a period of stability and cooperation, while keeping diplomatic channels open and allowing the four nations to continue working toward what serves the interests and well-being of their peoples.

📜 ARTICLE I — DURATION
This Treaty enters into force upon signature and shall remain valid until 31 October 2026.
🛡️ ARTICLE II — PROTECTED REGIONS
The following regions shall be protected under this Treaty:

Northern Sudan, Nuba Mountains, Darfur

🕋 Makkah:
Protected as a holy city.
⚔️ ARTICLE III — NON-AGGRESSION
No Party shall directly attack another Party's protected regions.
No Party shall place a fighting order against another Party's protected regions.
No Party shall facilitate such an attack, including through selling land, fake battles, granting access, or any other deliberate means.
These restrictions shall apply equally to Makkah.
🤝 ARTICLE IV — SUDAN & BANG ALLIANCE
Sudan shall remain a member of the BANG Alliance, and such continued membership shall not constitute a violation of this Treaty.
⚠️ ARTICLE V — BREACH & PENALTY
Any Party that violates this Treaty shall:
💰 Pay a fine of 10,000 coins.
⚔️ Become subject to attacks by all Arab nations.
A violation includes directly attacking any protected region, placing an order to attack it, or deliberately facilitating such an attack.
🕊️ ARTICLE VI — TOWARD A FUTURE OF PEACE
The Parties recognize that the continuation of this Treaty, and the stability, dialogue, and non-aggression it provides, may serve as a positive foundation for further consultations concerning peaceful relations and cooperation between the Parties.
The Parties share a common desire to keep channels of dialogue open and remain open to opportunities for peace and cooperation in the future, in a manner that serves regional stability and the common interests of all Parties.

🤝 A RENEWED COMMITMENT TO PEACE
The Government of the Kingdom of Egypt welcomes the successful conclusion of these discussions and the renewal of the peace framework between the four nations.
Egypt considers this extension an important opportunity to preserve stability, strengthen communication, and allow the parties to address future matters through dialogue and diplomatic consultation.
The parties have demonstrated that differences can be addressed through communication and that peace remains possible when nations choose cooperation over confrontation.
Egypt looks forward to the continuation of this period of peace, mutual security, and constructive cooperation, for the benefit of the countries concerned and, above all, their peoples.
The Kingdom of Egypt reaffirms its commitment to respecting the Treaty and to maintaining open and constructive relations with all signatories.

تمديد وتجديد معاهدة السلام الثلاثية
مملكة مصر 🇪🇬 • مملكة ليبيا 🇱🇾 • السودان 🇸🇩 • مملكة جنوب السودان 🇸🇸
وزارة الخارجية — المملكة المصرية العظمى
عقب سلسلة من الاجتماعات والمشاورات والمناقشات البناءة بين ممثلي مصر وليبيا والسودان وجنوب السودان، توصلت الأطراف الأربعة إلى تفاهم مشترك بشأن تمديد إطار السلام وعدم الاعتداء القائم.
وقد أعادت الأطراف التأكيد على التزامها المشترك بـ السلام، وعدم الاعتداء، والأمن المتبادل، والحوار، والاستقرار الإقليمي، واتفقت على استمرار العمل بالمعاهدة حتى 31 أكتوبر 2026.
ويعكس هذا التمديد المصالح المشتركة للأطراف في الحفاظ على فترة من الاستقرار والتعاون، مع إبقاء قنوات الاتصال والحوار مفتوحة، وإتاحة المجال أمام الدول الأربع لمواصلة العمل بما يخدم مصالحها ومصالح شعوبها.
وبناءً على ذلك، تؤكد مملكة مصر ومملكة ليبيا والسودان ومملكة جنوب السودان رسميًا إعادة العمل بالمعاهدة وفق البنود التالية:

📜 المادة الأولى — مدة المعاهدة
تدخل هذه المعاهدة حيز التنفيذ فور توقيعها، وتظل سارية حتى 31 أكتوبر 2026.
🛡️ المادة الثانية — المناطق المحمية
المناطق التالية محمية بموجب هذه المعاهدة:
🇪🇬 مصر:
الوادي الجديد، ساحل البحر الأحمر، مصر الوسطى، صعيد مصر، الإسكندرية، الدلتا، سيناء.
🇸🇩 السودان:
شمال السودان، جبال النوبة، دارفور.
🇸🇸 جنوب السودان:
الاستوائية، بحر الغزال، أعالي النيل.
🇱🇾 ليبيا:
شمال شرق ليبيا، شمال غرب ليبيا، جنوب غرب ليبيا، جنوب شرق ليبيا.
🕋 مكة المكرمة:
محمية باعتبارها مدينة مقدسة.
⚔️ المادة الثالثة — عدم الاعتداء
لا يجوز لأي طرف مهاجمة المناطق المحمية التابعة لطرف آخر بشكل مباشر.
لا يجوز لأي طرف إصدار أمر قتال ضد المناطق المحمية التابعة لطرف آخر.
لا يجوز لأي طرف تسهيل مثل هذا الهجوم، بما في ذلك من خلال بيع الأراضي، أو المعارك الوهمية، أو منح حق الوصول، أو أي وسيلة أخرى متعمدة.
تنطبق هذه القيود كذلك على مكة المكرمة.
🤝 المادة الرابعة — السودان وتحالف BANG
يستمر السودان كعضو في تحالف BANG، ولا يُعتبر استمرار عضويته في التحالف خرقًا لهذه المعاهدة.
⚠️ المادة الخامسة — خرق المعاهدة والعقوبة
أي طرف يخرق هذه المعاهدة:
💰 يدفع غرامة قدرها 10,000 عملة.
⚔️ يصبح عرضة لهجمات جميع الدول العربية.
ويشمل الخرق مهاجمة أي منطقة محمية بشكل مباشر، أو إصدار أمر بمهاجمتها، أو تسهيل الهجوم عليها عمدًا.
🕊️ المادة السادسة — نحو مستقبل من السلام
يقر الأطراف بأن استمرار هذه المعاهدة وما توفره من استقرار، وحوار، وعدم اعتداء قد يشكل أساسًا إيجابيًا لمزيد من المشاورات حول مستقبل العلاقات السلمية والتعاون بين الأطراف.
وتعكس هذه المادة الرغبة المشتركة لدى الأطراف الثلاثة في إبقاء قنوات الحوار مفتوحة، والانفتاح على فرص السلام والتعاون مستقبلًا بما يخدم الاستقرار والمصلحة المشتركة.

🤝 تجديد الالتزام بالسلام
ترحب حكومة المملكة المصرية العظمى بالنتائج الإيجابية التي أسفرت عنها هذه الاجتماعات والمشاورات، وبنجاح الأطراف في التوصل إلى اتفاق بشأن تمديد إطار السلام وعدم الاعتداء بين الدول الأربع.
وترى مصر أن هذا التمديد يمثل فرصة مهمة للحفاظ على الاستقرار، وتعزيز التواصل، وفتح المجال أمام معالجة أي مسائل مستقبلية من خلال الحوار والمشاورات الدبلوماسية.
وقد أثبتت هذه المشاورات أن الخلافات يمكن التعامل معها من خلال التواصل، وأن السلام يظل ممكنًا عندما تختار الدول التعاون بدلًا من المواجهة.
وتتطلع مصر إلى استمرار هذه المرحلة من السلام والأمن المتبادل والتعاون البناء، بما يحقق مصلحة الدول الموقعة، وفوق كل شيء، مصلحة شعوبها.
وتؤكد المملكة المصرية العظمى مجددًا التزامها باحترام المعاهدة والعمل على الحفاظ على علاقات مفتوحة وبناءة مع جميع الأطراف الموقعة.
