To all my brothers and sisters celebrating today,
And to everyone the world over,
I pray that you have a blessed day. I pray you and your loved ones find peace and prosperity. I pray good things find their way to you. I pray that this day, and every day besides, brings you growth - in your faith, your knowledge, your wealth, your kindness and status. I pray for the ease of those going through hardship and pray for the prolonging of the blessings enjoyed by others.
It can be difficult, at times, to see past our differences. We argue with our neighbours as we might argue with those across the world. Ideologies, politics, old and new feuds - there is no shortage of reasons to hate, for those who seek them out. In such an environment, I hope that we can take some time to remember that kindness is a virtue, reconciliation a gift, and that gentleness is found in nothing except that it beautifies it.
