As a new player learning the ropes on playing tall, the experience of earning that first "Cha-Ching" relies on what you focus your stats on.
If you plan on playing more of the economist on this game, I would recommend playing with the "Production" (Yellow Pickaxe) , "Energy" (Blue Electricity), and "Entrepreneurship"(Pink-ish Lightbulb) stats, as is the general requirements on playing tall. Its also imperative that you build around your corporations, as they're the only aspect on manual resource gathering.
There are different approaches for playing tall, as a solo player, there are many paths you can choose for yourself:
This player focuses on playing with the market needs, focusing his companies on consumer goods production, with the aim of selling them/ trading them at the market for a good price.
This player focuses on building his corporations from the ground-up. His primary focuses are building companies around raw resources, then branching out to construction resources for further expansion.
This player focuses his production on ammunition, being the backbone of wars, this players base of production is essential for those players aiming for heavy ordinance plays on wars, aiming for loot crates.
This player branches on all three approaches. This would be your peak economic player, but doing this approach would be hard without knowing where to start, so its always good to have the first three approaches before branching out to this path.
You should also know the government in your country to play tall. The party system has its "Party Ethics" which dictates the playstyle of your country. The best party ethics when playing tall would be the "Fanatic Republic", which plays on your country's development. If your country's development would be around the high 10's or 20's, this ethic would be for you.
How you center your companies productions could also play a part on your earnings of "Cha-Ching". Theres currently two other party ethics choices that are helpful for the approaches.
The AGRARIAN ethic focuses on consumer resources (i.e. foodstuffs), giving a boost on production bonuses on these resources, good for MARKET ANALYST players
Then there's the INDUSTRIALIST ethic, focusing on boosting the production of ammunition and construction materials, good for ARMS DEALER and CORPORATE TYCOON players.
Overall, this article only aims to suggest the reader on what choices they can make for themselves, the final verdict would always rely on your smarts, and exploits on this market system. Remember to be brave, stay hungry, be cunning, and you'll soon be flooding cash on your pockets.
