**TL;DR:** I'm stepping down as president. The novelty of being one has faded, while the workload has only continued to grow, and IRL responsibilities have started catching up with me.
It’s a usual day as the President of Indonesia. I went to sleep at 2 AM last night because there were important battles and discussions happening at that hour (UTC+07 honestly sucks for this), only to wake up at 7 AM to 20+ pings across multiple different Discord servers, plus DMs. Every single one of those pings requires attention, deliberation, and decision-making.

Yes, I did.
Back then, it was fueled by novelty and the pride of helping grow a community. When I first joined the game, Indonesia only had around 20 active population (and back then even level 3+ players counted as active), with maybe five people regularly active on Discord. Before being elected president, I also served as Vice President for two terms. It was during that period that Indonesia grew from 20 active players into what it is today.
Sadly, that novelty has faded over time, and now that IRL responsibilities have started catching up with me, this has become unsustainable.
This is only me stepping down from the position of President. I’ll still remain active in making articles, creating tools (there’s one major tool I’m still working on that I think every country would love), and interacting with the community.
I also want to thank all my friends, allies, and even enemies in this game. At the end of the day, this is still just a game, and I have never treated it as anything more than that. There are no hard feelings, even after spending the past two months constantly at odds with some of you. I always tried to remain respectful to everyone, and if there were moments where I failed to do so, I sincerely apologize.
With this, I will be proposing a law to begin a new presidential election in Indonesia.
