Merhabalar herkese. Oyuna başlayalım 9 aydan fazla olmuş. Bu kısa sürede o kadar fazla şey yaşandı ki, düşününce aklım almıyor. Basit gözüküyor bu oyun, çok vaktimi almaz diye düşünüp başlamıştım. Büyük yanılmışım arkadaşlar :) Harcadığım haddi hesabı olmayan zamanın ve yorgunlukların ardından artık emekli olma vaktinin geldiğini düşünüyorum ve oyunu bıraktığımı açıklıyorum.
Başkan olarak hiç yönetmemiş olsam bile, daha ilk başladığım günlerden beri hep ülke yönetiminde söz sahibi oldum. Diplomaside diğerleri kadar aktif olmasam da, önemli kararlar alınacağı zaman hep olayların içinde oldum. Herkesle iyi geçinmeye çalıştığım gibi, yeri gelince de ağırlığımı koyduğum olmuştur. Ülkemizin iyiliği için ne yapılması gerekiyorsa hep onu yapmaya çalıştım. Nüfusumuza oranla edindiğimiz başarılar için ne kadar emek verdiğimi siz zaten gayet iyi biliyorsunuz.
Özellikle savaş konusuna ne kadar kafa patlattığımı çok iyi bildiğinize eminim. Sadece Türkiye ile sınırlı değil, bütün oyuna iyi veya kötü etki ettiğime kesinlikle eminim. Türkiye ve müttefikleri benim geliştirdiğim buildler ile savaştı. Düşmanlarımız da ya bizim buildlerimizi aldı ya da benim geliştirdiğim simülator ile benzerlerini buldu. Savaş konusundaki bazı taktiklerim de artık meta olmuş vaziyette. Oyunun tarihine en azından savaş konusunda adımı yazdırdığımı düşünüyorum.
Savaş konuları ve Türkiye'nin geldiği büyük ülke konumunun dışında, geriye dönüp baktığım zaman hatırlayacağım şeyler sizlerle geçirdiğim vakit olacak. Dost veya düşman, çoğu insanın saygısını kazandığımı düşünüyorum. Gün sonunda bu bir oyun, önemli olan aramızdaki iletişim.
Merak edenler için kısaca şu maddelerle açıklayabilirim.
Oyun zaten basitti, v0.24 ile çok daha basit oldu. Kafa patlatıp avantaj elde edebilecek derinlik oyunda yok, gördüğüm kadarıyla hiç de olmayacak. Bu da oyunu sıkıcı yapıyor.
Oyun çok fazla aynı şekilde devam ediyor, kendini tekrar etme konusunda birşeyler yapılması lazım. Sürekli aynı şeyleri yapmak bir yerden sonra gerçtekten sıkıyor.
Çok fazla zaman istiyor. Eğer benim gibi gerçekten ülkenin iyiliğini umursayıp güzel işler yapmak istiyorsanız, vakit ayırmak zorundasınız. Umursuyorsanız ama vakit ayıramıyorsanız gerçekten stres olursunuz. Ya umursamamak lazım, yada uzaklaşmak. Ben umursamamayı beceremedim.
Olur da vakit ayırabilirseniz, bu sefer de iş gibi oluyor oyun. Savaş takibi, yasalar, acil durumlar falan derken sürekli nöbetteki bir çalışandan farkınız olmuyor. Yönetimdeki arkadaşlara sorun bakalım, kaç kere oyun için aranmışlar hatta uykudan uyandırılmışlar. Ben bu strese değmeyeceğine karar verdim.
Bildiğiniz üzere oyundan en çok kullanılan savaş simülatörünü geliştirmiştim. İnsanlara hala yararlı olmasını istediğim için @Radu ile konuştum ve kendisinin devralmasını istedim. Artık yeni bir adresten kullanıma açılacak:

Gel gelelim bu oyunu değerli yapan asıl şeye. Tıklama simülatörü basitliğindeki bu oyunu en değerli yapan şey sizlersiniz sevgili cephe arkadaşlarım. Birlikte geçirdiğimiz vakit, aramızdaki iletişim, bu oyunun asıl değeridir.
Gerçekten güzel işler başardık. Çok güzel zamanlardan geçtik, çok zor durumlarla da başa çıktık. Bu süreçte cephede benimle çatışan tüm silah arkadaşlarıma selam olsun. Aylarca kendi hayatlarından feragat edip ülkeyi yönetenlere de ayrıca saygılar. Elimden geldiğince size yardımcı olmaya çalıştım.
Türkiye'nin potansiyelini ortaya çıkarıp, en güçlü ülkeler arasına sokmayı başardık. Emeği geçen herkesle gurur duyuyorum. Tek tek burada isim saymaya gerek yok, herkes zaten biliyor kendini. Türkiye'yi sizlere emanet ediyorum ve emekliliğimi ilan edip, Bodrum'daki yazlığıma çekiliyorum. Arada çay içmeye beklerim.

Hello everyone. It's been more than 9 months since I started this game. It boggles my mind to think so much has happened in such short time. I started this game thinking that it's simple and won't take much time. Oh man, was I wrong :) After spending countless hours and all that hard work on this game, I'm realizing that it's time to retire now and quit for good.
Despite never ruling Turkey as a president, I've always been very influential behind the scenes. Even though I haven't taken a lot of active time for diplomacy, important decisions had always gone through me as well. I tried my best to get along well with everyone. My people know all the hard work I've put into the success of Turkey.
I'm quite sure it's known how much I've obsessed over battles in this game. My impact goes well beyond Turkey, the whole game is probably different because of me and my simulator. Turkey and allies fought with the builds that I've prepared, our adversaries either took those or created something similar using my simulator. Some of my tactics are now meta in the game. For good or bad, I believe I put my name in the history of the game in regards to battles.
Other than the achievements, my relationship with people is what I'll remember when I look back at this game. I believe I earned most people's respect, friend or foe. In the end this is just a game, what matters is the relationships.
Short summary for people who are curious:
The game was always simple, but v0.24 made it even simpler. There's no tactic involved in individual gameplay what-so-ever. It's just super easy now, and gets shallower with every update, rather than deeper. Which makes it super boring.
There's a lot of repetition in the game. After some time, doing same things over and over gets boring. In the end winning or losing is equally meaningless.
It takes so much time. If you really care about your country, you need to take time for the game. And if you care a lot but can't take time, then you get stressed. It even affected my real life. The solution is to either not care, or to step away. And I failed at not caring.
If you can take time for it, then it becomes like a second job. Following war, laws, emergencies etc. it feels like I'm a worker who's on-call all the time. Ask your leaders to see how many times they were called, woken up etc. I decided that it's not worth to have this stress.
As you know, I've developed probably the most used battle simulator in this game. Since I still want it to be helpful for people, I've asked @Radu to takeover the ownership. The project has been handed over to him, and now you can reach the simulator from a new address:

And now, to the most valuable part of the game. In this simple "click simulator" game, the most valuable part has been the people that fought with me at the battlefield. The time we've spent together, our communication, are the most valuable things in this game.
We've accomplished a great deal. Been through great times, and dealt with hardship. Greetings to my fellow soldiers fought with me at front line. Additional respect for people who've sacrificed their real life to bring glory for their countries in the game.
We've managed to realize Turkey's potential and put it top of the leaderboard for months and months. I take pride in people who've spent so much effort on this. No need to call out individual names, you know yourselves. I'm entrusting Turkey into your hands, and retire to my summer house in Bodrum. Feel free to drop by for tea some time.
