Foreign Ministry Statement on India’s Unprovoked Attack on Kashmir

Today, at approximately 9:20 AM PKT, India launched an unprovoked attack in Kashmir. Pakistan had already received intelligence indicating that India was preparing to launch an attack on August 15, and our forces were fully prepared to respond. The outcome speaks for itself.

Our armed forces, backed by the unwavering resolve of our people, swiftly neutralized the incursion with absolute precision. It is regrettable that the aggressor’s military planners so severely miscalculated both our readiness and their own capabilities. We anticipated a strategic challenge; instead, we witnessed a disorganized offensive that collapsed the moment it met actual resistance. It is a profound embarrassment to their command structure and a clear reminder that sheer ambition cannot compensate for a lack of tactical competence.

Kashmir is an integral part of Pakistan, and we will not tolerate any attempt to threaten our sovereignty or territorial integrity.

Today, Pakistan delivered a strong and decisive response to India. Let this be a clear message to the world. Any country that attempts to undermine Pakistan’s sovereignty will face a response that is equally strong. Pakistan stands tall today, strong, united, and fully prepared to defend its territory and national interests against any threat.
