Friends, we need to talk.

I am getting sick of those continuous conflicts between us.

I do not write much, it is also my first article but forgive me my friends, because I need to vent.

Every day, everytime I open the game to play a little bit, I am greeted by complains. One day it is about cheaters, another it is about mod abuse. Put aside the endless rivalry between players and mods in any games, this is becoming to come out of hand here (on both sides).

What about the hate? I see many of you guys spit on each other with straight up mean mockeries for... For a f***ing game? Look at these guys, they're ganging up on us with alliances! Look! They're attacking peaceful players! Look! They're sendies spies/proxies in other countries! Look, they're russians! Argentinians! French! "Japanishs"!

God DAMN IT!

We are IN A GAME, guys! Do feel targeted, because I speak to ALL of you! We all came here, I hope, to have fun. Of course, since WarEra is a multiplayer game, there are rules each person need to agree on. Heck, let's not talk about rules between us, it is a matter of principles.

Like respect each other or don't bring your IRL problems, you know? Politics is fun as long as it concerns the game.

Let's get back to principles. For instance, no cheating. Obvious, no? Well, sadly, people like to have an advantage over others sometimes. There will always be cheaters.

If you are a cheater, I want you to know that you have no excuses. I want you to know that you are ruining everyone's fun. I want you to know that you are destroying the game. Your game. Do you feel good about this? Does it feel good to destroy something people took time to create, like a mean child destroying a neat sandcastle on the beach? Yeah, you're that guy nobody likes. You are the reason nobody likes you.

...Fioo, sorry about that! Moving on.

So we all agree that cheating ruins the fun. Unfortunately, lately, some players have been banned for... Controversial reasons.

Some want to work for each other at low prices. Sure, why not? The game allows it and it doesn't hurt anyone, right? ...Right?

Woah, someone got a perfect legendary tank! It's extremely rare, which means you can sell it for a lot of money, STONKS! Well, until the mods hear about it.

Oh, another player got a legendary but... The worst kind. He doesn't want it, surely they can sell it for not much, yes? Guess who shows up to stop that?

This isn't going anywhere.

Players of WarEra, we need to talk.

Talk, and act.

Mods, players... Even cheaters... It is all OUR game. We are the ones who are shaping this game every day at our image. We are the ones who make the game how we want it to be.

Do you want WarEra to be fun? Or do you want him to become yet another dead game?

Here are my principles.

I shall not bring my IRL problems into the game.

I shall not cheat. (Who could have guessed?)

I shall respect my fellow players, as much as I want them to respect me.

I shall use common sense.

And last but not least.

Dear admins, dear mods,

I personally admire what you do, truly. But I do not agree with everything you do, especially over the game mechanics.

You cannot blame your players to, say, put an item for very expensive or very cheap on the market if the game or the rule lets them. As long as it falls under basic common sense, of course.
