FROM BEGGAR TO KING: THE VORTEX BEGINS 🌪️

Money first. Massive damage later.

I joined WarEra with a sophisticated economic strategy:

Step 1 — Beg for money.
Step 2 — Build an industrial empire.
Step 3 — Somehow become King of Spain.

I am currently somewhere between steps 1 and 2.

Yet somehow step 3 happened first.

THE BEGGAR

My first contribution to WarEra journalism was:

“I'm a new player, please tip some cash, I will not forget.”

A masterpiece.

And somehow…

you actually paid me.

Coins came in.
Gems came in.
Comments came in.

Someone even gifted me a subscription.

So first of all:

I have not forgotten you.

You are all early investors in whatever terrible financial experiment this account eventually becomes.

THE VORTEX 🌪️

My name is Vortices.

And yes, the name was intentional.

Vortices is an English word, and the same word exists in Spanish as vórtices.

Same meaning, almost identical spelling, two languages.

That was actually one of the reasons I chose it.

A vortex spins around a centre, pulls things towards itself and tends to create a certain amount of chaos around it.

The name worked in both languages.

It sounded good.

It matched the avatar.

And considering my first few days in WarEra…

it may have been more prophetic than expected.

I entered this game as a random Spanish newbie.

A few days later, people in Global Chat were calling me:

KING VORTICES

I still don't know who authorised the coronation.

But I respect democracy, so naturally I accepted.

THEN I FOUND INKIETUD 🦇

This is where things stopped making sense.

Apparently Inkietud is not merely a military/political community.

There is the Dama.

There is Dekadencia.

There is Trankilidad.

There are Bloodworths.

There is Vampirología.

There are sosios, martyrs, miracles, purges and years of lore that nobody bothered explaining before throwing me directly into the middle of it.

From what I understand, the fundamental Inkieto doctrine is approximately:

If something happens, document it.
If something funny happens, meme it.
If something dramatic happens, turn it into lore.
If nothing happens… create Inkietud.

Honestly?

Perfect community.

THE TRANKILA ☀️

I have now been assigned to the Tercio de la Trankila, which Inkietud is developing into its second operational Tercio.

I even have my own progression channel:

Veterans are helping me optimise my build, companies and economy.

The doctrine is beautifully simple:

**FIRST THE MONEY.

THEN THE MASSIVE DAMAGE.**

My long-term economic objective?

Six companies.
AE6.
Serious production.
Fund wars sustainably.

Beautiful. Capitalism.

THE INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION 🏭

For now, Vortices is ECO.

The empire currently consists of:

Iron.
Steel.
Limestone.

More is coming.

I've also discovered that WarEra seems to be approximately:

40% geopolitics
30% memes
20% spreadsheets
10% actually fighting

In other words:

EXCEL WITH NATIONALISM.

And I love it.

THE KING INCIDENT 👑

Then I discovered Global Chat.

Big mistake.

I hinted that something interesting might happen.

People started asking questions.

I refused to explain.

Then came:

“Remember me tomorrow.”

Things escalated rapidly.

Within a remarkably short period of time, Uzbekistan had basically adopted me, Belgium was questioning my sanity, people were calling me King of Spain, somebody suggested I should become President and someone else tried to recruit me to Uzbekistan.

I declined.

I will not sell my country.

At least not before checking the market price.

Eventually people started greeting me as King Vortices without me even starting the joke anymore.

At that point I realised something had gone terribly right.

WHY I'M HERE

I'm still new.

I don't understand every alliance.

Every rivalry.

Every old war.

Every civil war.

Every ancient betrayal.

Every Discord trauma.

Not yet.

But I've already understood something important:

The best part of games like WarEra isn't only clicking buttons.

It's the people.

The wars.

The economics.

The propaganda.

The politics.

The ridiculous arguments.

The memes.

The communities.

The stories that somehow become history.

That's why I'm still here.

And apparently that's exactly what Inkietud has been doing for years.

THE VORTEX HAS JUST STARTED 🌪️

I'm level 16.

I'm still relatively poor.

I have three companies.

I started my career by begging internationally.

I've been adopted by Uzbekistan.

I've been crowned King of Spain without any constitutional procedure whatsoever.

Someone gifted me a subscription. President of Colombia i love you.

And I somehow ended up inside a fictional vampire religion.

WarEra seems promising.

I'll keep building.

I'll keep learning.

I'll keep appearing in Global.

And sooner or later…
