But I am afraid that all my business ventures were in vain.

Today we are gearing up to see how a Lvl 6 Newbie took his successes and blew it all!

Yesterday at 18h00 I was planning my next step in upgrading my business. It started off with an asset count.

📝Hmm adding stocks... gear on market... Ah!

A total of 180 BTC if I sold everything... Good thing I won't need to... right?

Business is going well, I'm paying my employees well and I have about 20% to go to reach my next business goal!

The call came through...

ALL HANDS ON DECK!

The dreaded day came too soon... Questions flood my mind:

• Can I make a difference?

• What is my role in all of this?

• Maybe I should just listen and gear up?

The President announced a potential war outbreak, so it's time to gear up!

This will after all be my first battle, time to make the best out of it.

Luckily I recently unboxed a Purple weapon and some Blue gear.

So... let's forget all the advice and wisdom and Gear Up!

I sold everything to stock up for battle.

Let's buy some gear

I did a quick calculation and knew that for a Lvl 6 I am well off. So I grabbed my wallet and headed over to the market.

Let's buy some armor real quick.

• Pants

• Shoes

• Gloves

• Chest armor.

While we're at it, throw in some Heavy Ammo and Cooked Fish! Finally, reset my skills and pour it into Battle Skills.

Alright! Now I am ready for war!

As a quick test run, let's go to battle and see how much damage I am expected to do.
After 5 hits, I did a whopping 2.5K damage!

That is 10 times better than before!
Oh what a relief, maybe I CAN make a difference.

With fully decked Blue armor and Purple Weapons, surely this is good right?

To the Veterans out there, you likely see an issue with this.

For a lvl 6 player, who joined 5 days ago, this really isn't bad, but it just isn't worth it... is what I quickly learned last night.

The Problems

While the armor and weapons are on a great standard, the issue comes in with my skill tree. From a battle perspective, my accuracy is still terrible, damage is subpar and the expected output with this gear should be closer to 15K damage and not 2.5K.

Not only that, I am down to 30BTC after the purchases and selling the gear is now practically impossible as I already used it!

So I took off the gear and reverted back to Gray & Green.

I've sold all my assets and is currently out of Eco state for 7 days. So if I wanted to go back to doing business, there is little to no expected growth.

Conclusion

Money plays a big role in battle, as it can get you the needed resources to change the tide, but I've learned the hard way that there are many more factors when it comes to "Just going to battle"

If only the armor and weapons determined the outcome of a battle between a Lvl 6 and Lvl 23 player, not only would everyone instantly aim to get Legendary as soon as possible, but battles and war would be unbalanced.

I learned this the hard way, but hopefully I can soon recover from this mistake.
